And it is semantics what you are doing...

It's like in golf when they play British open in England and they say "it's windy, got the island breezes on the link courses"

Now if England isn't an island, then how the **** do they have island breezes..

How is obama helping displaced refugees from earthquake find refuge "off the island" "while the island infrastructure and power grid is rebuilt"

I'm not trying to argue that you are wrong about England being a country on an island, but it's still an island..

If England and Haiti's lands aren't island, then what are they?
They are part of an island, NOT an island.

They're countries. That's like me asking if Mexico isn't a continent then what is it?

Haiti and The Dominican Republic share the Island of Hispaniola.

Great Britain is an Island...England...Scotland and Wales make up the Island.

England and Haiti are not Islands...just a part of one that they share.

Look, you guys are technically right, but what siablo was doing was playing semantics..

We were talking about island nations, and he claimed England wasn't one and can't be compared to Japan or Jamaica which is false.. just because it shares the island, doesn't mean the country isn't an island nation..

Do they ever call Mexico or US a continental country?

                It lays on an island.

Why are we moving in circles here. Siablo said it isn't an island, which is true. The fact that it is on an island doesn't make Siablo's statement false. Let's move on now...

Empire - an extensive group of states or countries under a single supreme authority, formerly especially an emperor or empress.

Kingdom - a country, state, or territory ruled by a king or queen

Dynasty - line of hereditary rulers of a country

Empire is not a dynasty you tool

Look at your definition of dynasty,,, then look at definition of kingdom..

King and Queen but also hereditary rulers... who do you think is next in line for power in a kingdom? Do they elect the next king? Or is it his son the prince? Like a hereditary rulers in a dynasty..

                    Once again playing semantics

And also failed to admit that all of what you are talking about has nothing to do with ancestors of American slaves..

How is mideval times relevant? Child
