If I was Oleksandr's handlers I would not let Usyk take this fight. He has nothing to prove. My wish is that he would just retire already and pass the torch and the changing of the guard to the new and younger generation of heavyweights.
I mean c'mon guys what is the point? He's already defeated Triple D once and has defeated both Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury twice a piece. He has earn the right to retire from the sport of boxing with his record unblemished.
However, if he does decide to fight Triple D again; Then I have this eerie premonition that he will lose. It's the very same premonition I had when Daniel Dubois challenged Anthony Joshua and we've all witnessed what happened in that fight.
I cannot see Usyk lasting more than four rounds in this fight. Triple D is just too young, hungry, big, strong and powerful for the aging Oleksandr Usyk at this late stage of his career. What a very meaningless fight for Oleksandr Usyk?
I say that because he will be fighting inside of Triple Ds backyard now the U.K. With an entirely different referee and judges.
