Donaire beat Burnett who was ranked number 3 by the ring a year before the innoue fight and he beat oubali who was ranked number 2 after losing to innoue. He was an old bum when he fought inoue though. He also didn't fight at 118 until a year before the innoue fight when he moved down....

he didnt blow his wad. inoue held one time the last minute, slipped almost all of nerys punches, got in a good counter, and used his legs to stay out of range for most of nerys attacks. i dont think you can do all that if you are seriously hurt. if nery exhausted himself throwing punches intermittently...

thats actually the same percentage of body weight. from 108 to 122 is an increase of 11.5 percent. 154 to 175 is an increase of 12 percent....
