  • Charlo’s legendary 5 year reign has finally ended.

Won the belt via gmail. Defended it at a ratio of less than one fight per year. Lost the belt via gmail. Truly legendary stuff.

At his best he would have given the top guys a run for their money. I always liked how Golovkin fans cried about him.

He needs some serious help. He does not even belong close to a ring.

Another example of US bias in the sport. Nothing can prevent American boxers' desire to hold belts during long periods of inactivity whilst expecting enormous paydays.

With the WBC and WBA each providing inducements for Benny and Morrell to move up to 175lbs, the path is clear for Canelo - Berlanga.

the Charlo 160 Belt Era needs a video montage. Perhaps with Sarah McLachlan I will Remember You

He's actually a good fighter and very entertaining. He's got resiliency when he's in the ring and never gives up getting the win to the last round. I don't know what made him so fearful of losing to the point of avoiding fights altogether. Could be his trainer.

So disappointing after his run at 154 beating Cornelius Bundrage, Austin Trout, and Julian Williams.

At 160 he needed a gift to get by Korobov and his best win was Sergiy Derevyanchenko, who by that point had already been beaten in two brutal wars with Danny Jacobs and Gennadiy Golovkin.

what happened now? charlo didnt want to mix with the big boys who were over at dazn and thats that. it was another wilder situation. charlo turned down an offer to face canelo on dazn. dazn is where ggg was fighting on a 6 fight deal since early 2019. at that point charlos last fight was a gift decision over korobov. are you implying ggg was scared of charlo in any way shape or form when its literally the exact opposite and the facts show that? why didnt charlo go to dazn to fight them? oh he called out canelo and ggg that must mean he wants to fight them oh yes! facts be damned! i want to fight the guys in the organization i turned down! what now? logic? gone. i dont know if the ggg fight would have happened but it sure as hell wouldnt happen by staying at pbc fighting nobodies. charlo like wilder had his chances and he bottled it.
