Does anybody eat cereal for breakfast anymore?

Buying the cereal I used to eat seems a lil bit like buying toys as an adult. Fruit Loops, Coco Pebbles, Coco Puffs. The only semi-un-child-like cereal I can buy is Golden Grahams.
Plus I'm of the opinion breakfast is a bs meal thats been pushed on us by consumers to buy all these random foods people wouldn't & largely don't eat for anything but breakfast & I also feel the whole "3 meals a day" thing is some bs to to get people buying more food...but I digress.
It does feel childish eating cereal, especially the ones that come with toys. Or the ones that come in those fruity rainbow colored boxes.
I still eat cereal, but I eat that nutritious high protein cereal that comes in a box that has only two colors on it. I do feel kind of old to be eating Fruity Pebbles.
And Trix are for kids. Like really.Comment

I used to eat a healthy bowl of cereal before tournaments. I played volleyball and it was always my pre-event meal. It was important to load on carbs and meals like steak were too heavy and pasta weighed me down and left me feeling bloated.
I would eat non-heavy-sugar cereals like g**** nuts with some fruit like raisins added. I would follow it with a glass of orange or g****fruit juice and a lot of water to wash it down. I did it for years and I never felt weak or tired after.Comment
