Just read my above statements and reenact it right now as we speak. Imagine yourself moving into the inside and then pull your right leg back so your upperbody is at a 45 degree angle.
An idea would also be to look at your signature picture of Tyson. Look how straight he stands up..he is almost at 90 degrees which is bad because his opponent (if he wasn't scared half to death) has leverage and Tyson isn't able to smother him (although he doesn't need to) on the inside and take away his leverage.
soooooooooo sorta like trinidad fights? or cotto. but yeah i get what your sayin. sounds good.
hey butterfly, dats ***n bullshot, marciano didnt move 300lb bags like mystyal moved the 100lb bag, NO WAY. i have the clip of rocky hittin the 300lb bag and it moves a max of 3 inches with his hard right hand, and with his hooks it doesnt really move, maybe an inche
still didnt work. what does it say over there on your side
Pushing the bag doesnt mean like hitting it and then leaving your hands there to push it. Its after you land your following through a little too much you wont even notice it. You just have to throw them with a sort of stabbing motion and be in a position to bring you hands back a little faster. It doesnyt matter how bent your legs are if you are jumping forward with the big hooks then your not going to be balanced. And your trying to say even when you have had to spar with the pro's and the really good amatuers in your gym you havent gotten your ass whipped? If you have been boxing for a year and change and you havent gotten beaten up then your not learning anything and you should ask your coach to put you in with some better sparring partners guys who can kick your ass thats how you learn.

When I put my bagwork up I got a lot of criticism (which I asked for to help me out...) but some of it was just straight up bull****. I got the "pushing" comment a couple of times too, and it feels soo frustrating because you cant show these people what you are really about, like you could if they were actually in the room...
Nice vid, Mystyal, and obviously I wont really judge you on your real technique etc. since you had the restraints on and you said you were tired (which stops you from doing everything like you normally would). Just keep up the hard work, and take the best criticisms from this board... ignore the rest that are criticising for the fun of it... just like I did.

I hesitating to put up a video myself strickly for this reason.
only a few people acually know what there talking about, while the rest repeat **** over and over.
If coaches in your gym say you are pushing, you are pushing! I can't believe some of the egos people on this forum have. Everyone wants to believe they're a natural and can do it all on their own way, but the reality of the situation is that it's the guys who are constantly improving themselves, recognizing their flaws and working on them, that get ahead in any profession.

Your right, if this kid go's to Kevin Rooney like he says and has this same additude he's in for a suprise. Rooneys training program is still very strict the way i hear.
