and no coaches in my gym didnt say i push the bag where did u e that from and i cant believe u always got something bad to say about me in everything. like black ppl? jus curious. and what ego? i put a video up to show ppl. did i say i was a super hard hitter? nooooooooo. ppl questioning what i can do. so of course im going to prove them wrong. especially some criticizm i get from ppl that probably have never boxed before. how can u say i push the bag? my coach look at me. and if i saw pushing it i saw. no he does tell alot of ppl that there pushing the bag but not me.and did i say im natural and can do it my own way? if that was the case why would i be wasting my time seeing rooney for some of the **** u write about me doesnt make sense. at least if your going to talk about some1 get the facts straight first. and speaking of flaws do u think im going to always listen to ppl on the internet to twll me what to do when i bot. let alone a heavy bag? pleeeeeeeasssssssse ONCE AGAIN IM GOING TO SEE ROONEY TO BETTER MY TECHNIQUE AND SO HE CAN WORK MEAND DO ME AND ALOT OF PPL a favor and stay off the **** cause ne thing i post u criticize. your like a high school bully jus dont know when to stop ahahahaha. but like i said if i wanna hear criticism on how im doing on the bag i'll ask a "real" trainer and not some guy that hell if i knw jus plays on the computer and plays xbox 360 all day.

Look, I've posted messages when I've said the movement of the bag may be a bit from pushing or just the follow through on the punches in general. I really didn't intend it to be anything offensive. You do hit hard, and you look like you have potential. I agree that you can't just listen to what anyone on a message board says, since you don't know their qualifications. Just remember, nothing is more valuable that critisicm.

Yes! But you backed it up with evidence which makes it ok.

In regards to the coach thing I was talking about Exig who was saying that coaches in his gym were telling him to stop pushing his punches and that he just brushed them aside as if they were full of it. It's easy to push your punches without realizing it. Hell even Foreman pushed with a lot of the punches he threw at the bag in When We Were Kings. I did it alot as well when I trained a few years back. It's not what your describing those other guys doing when they try to make it look like they can punch, it's something that's most begining boxers do without realizing it.

And yes mystyal, you do push with your punches a bit. Your fist should barely stay on that bag, it should be WHAM and back (while at the same time trying to punch through the target; it's not easy). You obviously have great natural strength for your size and when you improve your stance and balance and refine that punching technique, get more snap on those shots, you're going to be a very formidable fighter.

But you need to lose the ego and not get defensive when people try to help you. That's what kills most pro fighters once they gain some success and forget the fundementals and the little things that got them there. It happened for sure to Tyson. It could happen to you if you're not careful. You have some natural talent but to get the most out of it you need to be improving every day. To do that, you have to listen to what your coach says. If he realy sucks, get another one, but watching videos is not enough. You need someone to constantly supervise and refine your technique and prevent you from developing bad habits.

use the jab to set up your other punches. Make sure to throw some work at the body as well.

Exactly, probably because he learnt from the criticism.
