Good stuff m8, i like the fact that u keep ur hooks short and use plenty of foot motion turning um in especially when u were close to the bag.Good head movement too. A must 4 ur kinda style. Little tip m8 try not to lean forward past ur front knee when throwing the straight right.....i know its cause u get more power that way but try not too ull pay for it trust me i know. Also am sure its cause u were ***ing round on the bag, but pop ya jab when moving back and if u find u take a lot of shots dont stand so square on unless in close quarters. Keep up the good work m8. Need to get some of those bands myself. Good ****.

It's easy to push your punches without realizing it. Hell even Foreman pushed with a lot of the punches he threw at the bag in When We Were Kings. I did it alot as well when I trained a few years back. It's not what your describing those other guys doing when they try to make it look like they can punch, it's something that's most begining boxers do without realizing it.
And yes mystyal, you do push with your punches a bit. Your fist should barely stay on that bag, it should be WHAM and back (while at the same time trying to punch through the target; it's not easy). You obviously have great natural strength for your size and when you improve your stance and balance and refine that punching technique, get more snap on those shots, you're going to be a very formidable fighter.
But you need to lose the ego and not get defensive when people try to help you. That's what kills most pro fighters once they gain some success and forget the fundementals and the little things that got them there. It happened for sure to Tyson. It could happen to you if you're not careful. You have some natural talent but to get the most out of it you need to be improving every day. To do that, you have to listen to what your coach says. If he realy sucks, get another one, but watching videos is not enough. You need someone to constantly supervise and refine your technique and prevent you from developing bad habits.
i mean i get what your saying and all. but with put my restraints there is more snap on my punches cause im literally lik2 3 times faster with them off. with 16 on.but when ever i try to hook i like to pretend like im following threw. even sometimes i miss the bag on purpose jus to see the velocity of my punches. and theres no ego. u guess r tellin me all sorts of things at once. i jus posted the video for ppl to see. now if i said i need help on form on the bag then ok then.and not to sound consended but my coach is like 68 and he said he cant handle my punches on the mitts so i cant continue to work on my technique and i have another coach that says that i punch to hard for him on the mitts and when ever im doing it with him he tells me to take it easy and not to punch to hard.ahahaha.but seriously i still dont see where i say i push my punches? when ever i throw combos i throw them quick and back out of them.(well except for the video maybe cause i got threw running a 6:29 mile and a 30sec. rest). im starting to wonder would u guys be saying i push the bad if i threw bad intention power shots which i didnt do. but ne way hell i dunno. my main critic i want to be is rooney

Criticism goes a long, long way in sports. Trust me I would know.
As long as you are practicing and working on your skills, you are getting better - even without a coach. I think it's naive of you to not take ANY constructive criticism from anyone personally. Just keep at it and don't measure yourself too often or too seriously, and don't take boxing so seriously that it becomes more of a game.
Enjoy boxing and the acquisition of skill for its own sake - for the physical pleasure itself. You should come to realize that the sport is not your life. It is just a game. If something more comes of it, so much the better. Try to enjoy the process of working and skill development and if a successful professional career happens...then it happens.
