Laughing that a man suffers a broken jaw? Why not just rout for Paulie to win and hope everyone remains safe? Boxing is a dangerous sport to live in! I never want anyone to suffer, I hope for success but never want anyone to be sidelined or worse! Ray

I just woke back up guys.

One thing about this debate is that everybody was respectfull and there was no insulting and stuff, that's because this group of guys have some class.

As for Paulie winning, it's a loooong shot, I understand that Broner can bring it if he wants too but I still think that if Paulie played him the way that I stated he would have a much better chance of pulling off the big upset. The key to Paulie having a good night is patience, make Broner initiate ad move forward. Paulies fast enough to work him on the extreme outside, and he'll have to to win the fight.

Thnks guys for keepin' it clean............. Rockin'

I just don't see in that scenario where Paulie would win or have the advantage. I think he needs to be first, shoot the jab often and move, move, move. Speed it up to a higher pace, out point Broner, almost turn it into an amateur style fight.

        Broner has great accuracy.
I agree with this guy Paulie needs to be in tip top shape for this one. If he fights like he did against Senchenko and keeps the pace high for 12 straight rounds he can win this. The key is beating Broner to the punch and peppering him with that jab all night and moving around the ring constantly. Paulie says he just fights for money but I think he wants to win this one to get that extra level of respect. I think he'll be in top shape for this. I hope.

When people say shiet like that, that's how you know when someone has probably never stepped in the squared circle.

Though I agree that laughing at someone's injury is not cool. I don't think that was what the poster was intending the comment to be. I think it more a commentary on Paulie lacking enough power to cause injury, and how a particular moment like that would disrupt the current order of boxing's hierarchy. Laughing more at the irony than the actual situation.

However, I agree its not funny when athletes who get paid to entertain, and put their health at risk, actually get hurt.

I feel the same way about football players, even when they're against my team, I hate seeing guys get hurt bad. Granted In game's I've been behind, I have secretly wished for the opponents to get leg cramps, or pull a hamstring, etc.... I'm not entirely innocent, but I never hope for serious injury.

and to ROCKIN' - I agree, this conversation has been rather respectful, and overall a good discussion and debate. We should have more of these on this forum.

Just to clarify I wouldn't be laughing at him suffering, I would only be laughing at the irony of him getting his jaw broke by someone like Paulie who isn't known for their power at all. Id still feel bad for the man.

I wouldn't wish anything like that on anyone though, especially not someone I like lol

Well, atleast we did it with class for awhile, thanks for your additional 2 cents Cuauhtémoc1520. I'm sure that the thread would have been worthless without it.

Paulie can win this fight tonight, playing it the way the I stated will just make it easier for Paulie if he shows up ready to roll......... Rockin'

Hey Rockin, relax it was a joke.

Also, I dont' want to say I told you so, but Paulie moved, and was more active and that was the way he was winning rounds.

When the pace slowed down, Broner was beating him up. If he would have slowed the pace like you wanted, Paulie would have been knocked out. When he was punching and being first, he was forcing Broner to defend.

Sometimes a good offense, is a good defense.
