Safe son, nice work. I've lost about 8 myself, pretty good as I wasn't particularly big in the first place.

Honestly there is no better feeling then seeing the hard work in the gym paid off

Thanks and I'm still training. My target weight is around 195-200 and be very ripped and solid. I'm almost there.

Used to training in those conditions, actually. My dad installed that in me at a very young age so as I got older, I wasn't too bothered by it.

Sounds to me like you're going all B-Hop as you near the halfway point of your life. Pretty cool stuff, actually. Do you find it more difficult to keep yourself motivated to stay in shape as you age?

Not really, I find it easier because I'm more dedicated and more mature about my discipline. I still spar at a very high level, I only spar seriously with either really good amateurs or pro's in the gym still.

If you were to see me, you would never think I was in my late 30's. I have always had that young face but if you don't work at it, then it does get harder. I recently entered the masters tourney and had to get down to 175. It was tough but I did it only to show up and have nobody my age or weight there. There was a kid who was 22 years old at my weight but they wouldn't let me fight him since I was so much older according to the rules.

The worst thing about getting a little older is the recovery, I can't lie that's the toughest part. I used to workout like a beast when I was fighting competitively and not even be sore. Now if I push it, I feel it and it takes me about twice as long to recover.
