A few of the best local runners are a fair bit quicker, one guy I went to school with can pass the four mile mark in under 20 mins!! But he does compete overseas........

if i'm just doing one mile, i can ride that out in about 5 mins; the 2 lets say 11 - my 5k is about 18 the 4 miler would tack on another 6 minutes @ 24. my 10 miler i'm running in 67 minutes and my 15 miler (don't have a 12 mile route) i do in 104 minutes give or take a couple of mins depending on wind.
does anyone use mapmyrun.com and want to share routes?

let's do that. i'll add you turds and we can just be a group of men fighting that piece of ***** dormant fat gene.
i thought about just posting pics up here of my routes but it would take too much time to blank out street names and crap in defense of turds around here that would have no qualms tracking your identity down and ****en you professionally.

I use a Garmin Forerunner 305 satellite watch. Easily one of the best training tools around. It links into Google Earth and doesn't cost very much for what it does.

I thought it was quite simple, I'm around 10 stone 12 pounds (152 pounds); thats two pounds under the light middleweight limit of 154Lbs which happens to be exactly 11 stone.
I'd have to give up my upper body weight training to make 10 stone 7 (or 147Lbs Welterweight).
Hope thats a touch clearer.

that's the 405 and while its great - satellite locating gives me a LOT of ***** and my time is money, leave work early enough to sneak in a run before i get the kids and all that other jazz.
