        Well said!

I have been watching boxing deteriorate for that past 30 years, and sadly most of the deterioration comes about from boxers not knowing their trade. If boxers would spend more time doing boxing drills and less time pumping iron they would be much further ahead. And so would the fans. It is the fans who buy the tickets, and ultimately pay the bills. It is the fans who come to be entertained buy a good boxing match. The fact that the fan base is diminishing is proof that they are not impressed with the modern trend in boxing. When journeymen boxers can't make a living, that does not bode well for the sport.

Nothing wrong with interval training but if it ends up being faster and quicker than running 7 miles, then you need to resort your routine.

Sorry but boxing is a sport of function, if you want to look big..go to body building or MMA/WWE where a great deal of it is simply for show (looking tough etc).

TS, I don't know exactly how good you are in terms of boxing skills and such but you have to understand that some people around here may take things the wrong way. If you're as good as you say you are, why do you feel the need to post your credentials on here and seek the approval of others? True champions know just how good they are but let but let their skills do the talking, not their mouths.

Mate, if you had dedicated your life to it, you'd be a lot better than you are. If you're gonna put stuff up on the internet and basically brag that you are great, be prepared to cop ****e and make sure you can back it up. No offence, but you can't back it up at all. Being good and dedicating your life to it is being the best. Good pro fighters, world champs, young great amateurs with big futures etc dedicate their lives to it. Amateur guys who've done it for a little while and do it as a hobby, fun, little workout have dedicated their lives to ****. If that's what you call dedication and skill, you are either 1) a non-talented hack 2) a guy who's just started and has that ego driven righteous thing that many beginners get 3) talking out your ass or 4) a deluded ego maniac.

I suspect it's a bit of all. You gotta learn what being good is and what dedication is before you start talking about having dedicated your life to something which you are clearly still a semi-beginner at. That's not meant be an insult. It's a factual observation based on your own videos of boxing.

I don't care about your training and whatever. If you have dedicated your life to boxing, as you say, you would not be boxing like an amateur. With only 9 fights, you clearly are an amateur just starting out so it's not the best idea to offend people with "I've dedicated my whole life to this and not only am I great at it but I know more than everyone!"

You've had 9 fights. How is that dedicating your life to it? How old are you? I had had 9 amateur fights by the time I was about 12 years old. Drop the attitude and get real mate. The people who have dedicated their lives to it are the world champions or future world champions. It's disrespectful and ignorant to be saying you know more than everyone, are great and have dedicated your life to something that you haven't just because of some internet ego.

Edit: BTW, people that dedicate their lives to it amnd have true, genuine skill and knowledge don't feel the insecure, petty need to challenge people on the internet to street fights.

2nd Edit: I just realised something. Are you saying we should be grateful that you are not asking to be paid for your advice here? You do the forum for free? Well, now that's what I call dedication and generosity! Who needs guys like Scully, Rockin' and the many other champs, contenders and real fighters? We've got you doing it for free! It's a ****ing internet chat forum! Jesus! Why don't you set up your own forum and charge everyone a dollar for each of your great posts?
