the only thing that's for sure is the correct use of the parts of the body...simply turning or planting your feet can give you more power in your punches...learning the form is the most important thing...i know people who can lift a car but have no hands and can be dropped with ease because they don't utilize their body and momentum correctly...

It is a stunt. It does not often carry over into actual fighting

Also punch strength is not only thing that matter during the fight there are alot of complex stuff invovle
Now this I agree with. but we are talking about weights in this thread. Skills and fitness however should not interfere with strength training.

also, I would request that you learn to type

Do you hang around with powerlifting amputees? lol.

In all seriousness though in two guys of equal weight and technique the one with the greatest whole body strength will hit harder.

        technique+weights > technique

          whole body strength ftw.
          Leg Presses < Squats.

Not to mention if you ever watched 24/7 mayweather/hatton, you can clearly see that Ricky doesn't even use full ROM. He did ***** 1/4 leg presses.

As for the stunt part it really hard to tell. There are alot of Kung Fu as well as Muay Thai that dont use weights but able to have hard rock bones. Also some of these guy who break concrete and wood have speical competition for them. Some looked pretty buffed but there are others who are pretty thin.

I beleive you because most of the big WW's are huge compared to Mayweather .He walks around 150 152 and now he said he's walking around 147 in an interview for the Mosley fight .While Cotto supposidley walks around 170 , Clottey 180 .Not sure about Mosley Margarito etc but they're huge compared to Mayweather .Mayweather's quoted before there's fighters stronger than him but no fighter is smarter than him plus when he got asked about the Mosley fight he says he's coming in on top condition .There's a video when Mayweather finishes training and it's like 6633 punches plus he runs 5 to 8 mile a day for boxing.

impact (as in kicking a bag) is what produces their hard bones not bodyweight exercises, although they can acheive this its just alot slower
