man too lazy too clean my typing but I will try.
As for the stunt part it really hard to tell. There are alot of Kung Fu as well as Muay Thai that dont use weights but able to have hard rock bones. Also some of these guy who break concrete and wood have speical competition for them. Some looked pretty buffed but there are others who are pretty thin.
Concrete and Wood is more about focus and accuracy then it is strength.Comment

If Floyd doesn't like using weights fine, whats the problem? Obviously its working for him.
When I am at the boxing gym I stop using them too as I feel they make you too tight in the shoulder area and thus slows you down.
Still, its a trade off because if I am at the gym for several months and don't touch weights at all and then try I can only lift about 60% of what i could before.
The best thing to do for overall fitness, is some weights, some body resistance, some cardio but Floyd is a boxer and has a specific fitness goal and needs to do what his body responds best to for the results he wants just like bodybuilders aren't hitting the bag and running 5 miles a day to get ready for competitions.Comment

Money Mayweather just confirmed today that he doesn't lift weights. If you listen to his NYC presser he said he does bodyweight stuff. Makes him perform better, react better. "All natural strength" is what he said.
Weights is 1980s old school stuff. The most advanced athletes use bodyweight only.
Weights cause injuries and wreck your joints.Comment

Bruce Lee was not a fighter. He trained and did not compete. First and foremost he was an actor. I'm not debating he had some skills, but he wasn't nearly as good as people think.
and as for weights making you slow? bull-****. This is a common and wrong view found in boxing which is based purely on arrogance.
It will only make you feel slow if you do weights too close to boxing ie. maybe on the same day. that doesnt mean its slowing you down it means you need more recovery time.Comment

He regularely competed, I know for a fact he did Karate tournaments. I have to go to school I'll look up so more stuff on this later.Comment

Although I still doubt it without evidence, you can't really call karate tournaments fighting. they are more often than not semi contact point fighting. This would serve only to furthe prove that bruce was not a fighterComment
