sounds too risky, you're obviously not ready for a fight that weight is too substancial

You feel that if you go down you can cope with the power but you won't have the speed if you lose the weight in that amount of time, you'll get tko by the natural guy,he'll overwhelm you with flurry's and 165 is still a dangerous weight my advice is give youself time

Why did you agree to fight when you're not even in shape? You probably let yourself go like Ricky Hatton.

Get in shape first then fight in a few months.

I'd recommend cutting off a leg before an arm, cant score points with your leg.

But seriously, if you are able to cut the weight I can just about gaurantee you that you will go into that fight in such a weakened state that the small guys will clean your clock.

Fear is something that you MUST learn to control and then over come and feed off of. You think fighting a smaller guy is better because heres no way that they will knock your ass out. I didnt get stopped but when I cut drastic weight to fight smaller guys I went into those fights empty, live and learn.

Fight where ever you maybe comfortable. You have to have your legs under you to take a good shot and furthermore to get the **** out of the way of the punches.

But hey, lets be honest, you can get knocked out either way, it happens all the time in this game. But just let me tell you that if your stepping up to fight with overwhelming fear in your mind and heart ou are in for some trouble.

I recommend you tell your coach to call the bout off. Get back into the gym and work to build your punches, stamina and skills. But most of all you need to build your confidence.

Everybody is nervous stepping up. If they say that they are not then they're lying to you. Take control..................Rockin'

Yeah, as Rockin' said, just because you are in with guys that may be smaller at 165 doesn't mean they won't smoke you if you are drained.

Do the master "lemon" cleanse for 10 days then build urself back up easting really well.

But honestly like others said, its not safe to loose that much. Your better off fighting at 190 and getting ur skills ready. Dont be scared, looks are deceiving. You can be quicker, faster, better stamina, better boxing skills then dudes who look ripped. You said ur 6'1 and skinny, loosin 25 pounds is gonna make you a skeleton. Then the dude you fight whos naturally 165 is gonna tear you up, and you are gonna feel even worse. So Like others said, better going for 190 or 178.
