For your first fight its not going to be a big deal because the person they will pair you up with wont have many fights if any either maybe lose like 10 thats when my next fight is to but i only let myself get 4 pounds over my fight weight at any time if you were training i dont see how that would have happened either run a lot

Why do you need to lose so much weight for your first fight?

In ordinary shows you don't always need to be within a specific weight class, well over here anyway. You could weigh in a 172 and fight a guy who is 175 or something. I don't know anyone who tries to cut weight for an ordinary fight unless they are fighting a smaller guy and need to come in at an agreed upon weight.

It's not like a tourny where if you nominate to fight at 165 and weigh in at 167 you can't fight. It's an ordinary fight, they mix and match across the board, as long as the weight diff. is reasonable.

because i dont want to fight a huge guy..i mean im 6'1 190 but im a thin 190..not to muscular, and the guys up in that weight are big guys....i feel like i wouldnt have a chance against a guy that much bigger...i feel like 165 is a good place for me to fight....

good info on the weight, i think ima just do what i can and fight at the weight i land on on feb 20th...and its not a agreed weight i think theyre matching us up at the weigh in..so ill see how it goes....i just wanna win...badly...lol

I honestly think you should wait to fight and stick to training and dieting the right way. Your going to be putting your body through something your not use to at all and then you gotta be able to perform in the ring.

Not trying to Knock your confidence, but this is the last sport you should ever do half ass.
