    Running Times?

I run 4.5 miles once or twice, it usually takes me about 40 minuites.

What sort of time should i be doing this in? im in pretty good shape and if i push myself i can do it in about 38 mins.

So im wondering how far peeps are running and what sort of times your doing your runs in....

Im not gonna throw out false times.

I jog 3 miles every morning and it takes me about 30 minutes.

So I jog 10 minute miles. Slow?... yes. But at least im consistent.

I did 4.5 miles the other day in 34:41 which was my personal best, but I'm not much of a runner so I don't know if that's 'good'.

Don't worry about what is a good time to run that distance. Just try and keep improving on your time.

Time your run every day and if your watch has a 'lap' function use it to time different marks around your route. My route is basically four long straight roads around my house. I mark my time at each of the four corners. Lets me know what pace I'm at and if I need to pick it up a bit if I want to beat my previous days time.

i run 3 miles in about 27 minutes. is this good/bad/average?

i think i could do better because in the first 10 mins im going uphill and sometimes i take it wasy, imo i run quicker if iv been runnig for about 5 mins and then go uphill because im more warmed up to the task.

My personal best is about 36 minutes on a treadmill doing a 5 miler. But at a comfortable pace I do the 5 miler at around 42 minutes 3 days a week.

I do find running far easier on a treadmill than proper roadwork though, especially if there is a cute girl on the stairclimber in front of me haha

I used to do 4.5 in 33 min 15 .That was a heavy ball buster tho .3 miles in 21.30 and 1.5 miles in 10 min , fastest 9.28.I need to start running again i'm seriously going to.I don't do anywhere near as much because I do indoor conditioning Rosstraining full throttle conditioning.Ross Enamait can do 5 miles in under 30 mins and he's in his 30's. Holy s--t that's impressive.I'm going to start running again and if I fail to get near my old times i'm doubling it until I do .
