I believe you got the right idea, not sure if that will actually make you faster thou. I seen very fast handed guys shadow boxing or doing mitt work who don't sparr/fight nearly as fast.

so what is weekly or monthly that you have to get the semen pumped out of your stomach RSkummmmmmm21? though personally i dont really think your dad should be doing those kind of things to a 10 year old like you.

LMAO! I imagine this is how good most of the people are who give out all this advice..

you are born with quickness and speed, you can not create it,you can better coordinate that is it,you could throw as many punches as you want or try different techniques but the speed remains the same

not true. its very hard, harder than say stamina and strenght. but you can improve speed aswell. it just takes alot more time and effort.

just focus on punching faster, do some punch out drills, and shadowbox with 2lb weights or resistance bands. it will take time just to see results, but you will get there.

ok, yeah i usually shadowbox with the weights and then spend maybe 15-20 minutes just standing infront of the mirror throwing a few basic combos as fast as i can with the weights. Thanks

And btw, I'll definitely try the stuff Ylem advised. Might as well give it a shot and see eh.

sounds good, thanks! I'll keep up what I'm doing then, maybe throw in some other workouts too

i found the trunk twists to be very helpful for improving my chain punching speed in wing chun so i dont know but the exercise has many different variations like reverse ones where you lie on your back and hold something heavy or study and just move your legs back and forth, theres wood choppers, and theres trunk twists with a bar bell on its end.

the whole thing about weight and no weights its a matter of if you shadow with weights then put down the weights your faster right? but its only temporary. if you incorperate that little boost into your routine regularly your body, muscles and nerves start to remember that speed and it slowly increases. you dont even really have to shadow with out before hand i reccomend it though for tiring you out so when you do shadow with out the weights your inherently throwing more for speed and less for power.
