Yeah... go to a gym, boxing isnt something that can be self taught nor can any other type of martial art. It's like the 14 year old kids in sherdog, look I know you can watch UFC and imitate what they are doing, but you don't actually know the art and will get lit up by an actual practitioner

my personal opinion is that watching any sport is a worthless activity that people only do so they can have something to talk about because otherwise their a boring person.
i watch myself and imitate what my vast knowledge tells me i should be doing.

im not trolling i just want people to realize that the problem with boxing today is the massive amount of worthless greedy trainers that do nothing but lead you down the same path where you pay the same membership ever month for the next 15 years of your life succeeding at nothing cept wasting 15 years regardless of how much effort you put out.
if you want to be good at boxing say f**k coaches and educate your self on the sweet science and then go about finding a quality coach that will actually listen to your opinion.Last edited by Spartacus Sully; 05-19-2010, 01:29 AM.

Aside from thinking that you can teach yourself something that you don't know, you now think you can psychoanalyse every sports fan in the world in one fell swoop. Hilarious. It's also brilliant that a genius such as yourself doesn't know the difference between 'their' and 'they're'.
Maybe you can teach yourself to spell if you have any time left between armchair psychology and giving yourself boxing lessons.

id imagine its more of a grammar issue though as i did spell their correct just it wasn't the correct word for the sentence.
not every sports fan just the ones that only watch the sports and wouldn't be caught dead actually playing them.

it may all result in conversation but i can see how people have more invested into it then just so they have something to talk about to pass the time.
and in case any one wants to know a right cross is a counter where your opponent gets lazy and stops raising his lead shoulder when he jabs. what you do then is time the jabs so you can slip it over your right shoulder as you come in with an overhand right combining the force of him coming forward to punch you and you going forward and punching him. the slipping of the jab, the combination of the forces, and your right hand crossing over their jabbing arm specifically makes a right cross a right cross.
a left cross should never be done because that would require you slipping their right over your left while you come in with a left straight and there should never be enough room between your chin and your lead shoulder to slip a punch between there while your punching.Last edited by Spartacus Sully; 05-19-2010, 02:27 AM.
