No offense to MMA fans out there But im thinking the same as you.

Almost all mma fans that I see are just wannabes and losers. They think MMA is all that cause of all the Highlights where it shows only KOs.

Im not in for the argument of MMA vs Boxing. Its dumb as fuck and if your an extremist you will think one of them suck for some reason. Which in itself is dumb as fuck. Olympic wrestlers and ADCC world Jiu-jitsu champions are not rinky-dink rednecks who think they can fight. Muay Thai fighters with records of 100+ wins are not rinky-dink rednecks who think they can fight. Kyokushin black belts are not rinky-dink rednecks who think they can fight.

Im an MMA fan. I dont say boxing sucks and I dont think MMA sucks. I think MMA is easier for me because I always did Martial Arts which is using the whole body. Restricting me to just hands is really difficult, which is why I like boxing because its a challange.

ANYWAYS ON TO TOPIC: (not in response to the quoted above)

Sean Sherk said in a boxing match OF COURSE he would lose. He wouldn't go down in one punch but he would lose. In an MMA fight, Mayweather has NO CHANCE IN HELL against Sean Sherk.

Regardless of what you boxing extremists say; pure boxing doesn't translate well into MMA. You can bring up Tim Sylvia all you want but you dont know **** about MMA. So, let me tell you. Tim Sylvia isn't ****. I never liked him because he looks ****** as fuck fighting with weird knees and a hunchback.

Anyways. Sean Sherk is much different than Tim Sylvia. The guy is a takedown expert and will take you down through your sprawl. Mayweather will of course try to uppercut a take down but thats ****** as **** to do. He will get taken down and ground and pounded out. To a quick TKO. Trust me.

To you, when a boxing champion beats a MMA champ, the world should know that MMA sucks. However when a LIGHTWEIGHT MMA champ beats a Super Heavyweight Boxing champ. There are excuses for it. Tim Sylvia is the exact same way. He isn't all that great, its called hyping up a fight. Genki Sudo vs Butterbean shows how Mercer vs Sylvia doesn't mean ****.

In mma, the fighters must worry about take downs, kicks, elbows, knees, punches, subs etc. Their stance and defences will surely not be as "SWEET SCIENCE LIKE" compared to boxers as they worry more than just the body and the head.

Boxing is part of MMA. And yes, one punch can end a fight, boxing or MMA. But there is the take down, knees, subs.. etc. which is major in any fight.
By the way, do you know how much heavier butterbean is than Geki????
