  • how often do YOU run ?

    im curious to see how often some of the boxer's here run

    and what hours u like to run at best

    I am absolutley ashamed of my running over this winter. I used to do my cardio every morning. This winter was like twice a week. Canadian winters are ****, but I also have an exercise bike to use. Ahh, hopefully with summer comin' I'll get it back up.

      I am no Boxer, but I am doing the training. I am still thinking about wether I have the guts to get in the ring. hell I have never hit another person in my life.

      I have started running every morning from Monday to Friday.
      At the moment I only run 1.5km then fast pase walking for another 1.5km then I get on a rowing machine and row 1km ever day.

      I find my cardio is building up, and the weight is coming off.

      I am about to start doing weights, to build up my weak arms. hahaha

          really!
          Well I am very new to this, I like the Boxing Circut classes I am doing and deep down I wouldn't mind giving it a go.
          But the chicken in me who has never hit anyone and never been in a fight wants it to stay that way and is stopping me. Maybe with a bit more training and practise I might get the guts to give it a go.

            Just go in there and get hit a few times... If you don't have the desire to hit back, boxing is not for you...

              I usually run 1-3 times a week and I have an excercise bike I use on weekends and any weekday when I can get myself up by 5:30... usually 2 or 3 days a week.

              As far as getting in the ring I get a little nervous too but for some reason I love that feeling. Its been a a little strange for me hitting people without being in a mindset to hurt them... but I think its something I'm getting used to.
