Im sorry, but I gained way more that in a year. I went up about 18lb-20lb, or even more. And I dont even lift heavy.

Number of ahthelets who bulk up way more then 10lb in one year.

I dunno why you so fixated on the notion that it cant be done.

From my experiance its the initial build up thats hard. As you say 2-3 months to actually start noticing anything.

After that with hard work muscle seems to grow exponentialy.

i think the problem here is that i mean lean muscle and you talk about the weight you gain.

15-20lbs off total weight aint so unuseall whan you gain 10 lbs off muscle, remeber you probabaly eat and drink more than before adds weight, your fat percentage probaly encrease on a bulk, you have more glykogen in your body etc

My source is experience ass hole. I don't need to read a magazine or book to post somthing knowledgeable. nor would I sit here and give you a list of reports I have read. I have stated before to people on this forum I do take a certain amount of responsibility for peoples welfare when posting on this site. I do not pull **** out of my ass and just sugest you do it I have to know it works. Furthermore **** you if you don't believe it. You don't because you train wrong. No a person under your routine couldnt put on much muscle. That crap you posted wouldn't help at all. If you are persistant it would help cut you up thats about it. The strength benifits wouldn't even be high.
Don't believe that here is a simple equation. increased resistance = increased strength. What do you need to get stronger? Bigger? hmmm figure it out

I think the problem here is you know very little about what you are ****ting out your mouth. and it's anoying the hell out of me for some reason. WE are talking about lean muscle. The diet and exersize plan I perscribed is proven to add just that. You don't have to believe what I am saying it's ok. hundreds of bodybuilders here in southern California would agree because they follow that exact plan to put on upwards to 50lbs of lean muscle in less than a year. the ten you say is so good can be put on in 6 weeks. You need to do some research before you give advise.

I appreciate everyone's input guys. Looks like heavy pyramiding with a day off and lots of protein...we'll see where I can get to.

Dont work your entire body every other day, I was reading an article last night produced by Vince Gironda. He is like a god to body builders he helped Lalane train for some of the amazinf feats he accomplished. It's amazing the things he knew and practiced in his day. The schedule he sujests is like this
mon and thur - shoulders back and arms
tues and fri - legs forearms and abs

For each exersize do 3 sets of 12 reps (this was 1960 I would drop a few reps)
do 15 to 25 reps for calf and forearms 3 sets
Take only 30 to 45 seconds rests between sets as you become more sculpted drop it to 20 sec.
He also sujests no workout should take longer than 45 min.

It's a different program than I have used and came up with for building mass, but this is a legondary body builder not a boxer. He may have a better idea of how to build mass. Just wanted to give another angle. for thought.

if you don't mind getting fat you could gain alot of muscle in a short time but if you are trying not to gain fat then you will make slower progress.

it really depends on who you are, whether you will gain alot or not.

                    if your:

                    broad shouldered and narrow hipped
                    already muscular
                    and 'manly' (not camp)

you are good hoever, if your:

                    narrow shouldered and wide hipped
                    skinny as a twig
and as feminine as 'just jack'

                    you may have troubles

you should get yourself some noticable muscles in 4 months though

this is not from a book ore some magazine, this is the word from my trainer, my countries best bodybuilders and and doctors

if you cant handle that someone else dissagres with you, than your the one with a problem.

the program i posted is a typical newbie from a trainingforum who mostly is fore bodybuilders
