Jesus tho. I mean, so I likely need about 3027 cals for optimum clean bulking according to the article. I wasn't oing to do junk food but there are so little calories in thing like steak, chicken, and fish. How the hell do you get 3000 cals of healthy stuff? That'll have to be one MEAN appetite IMO...or eat normal with 2 protein shakes a day.
Thanks for the article.

No it's recomended. Youi need it to use the fat inbetween and around the muscle fibers. Anaerobic exersize doesnt use fat as an energy source very well. If you want to have lean muscle "ripped" you need the cardio, aerobics
This is a good article with many references
THE OPTIMAL PROTOCOL FOR FAT LOSS?
http://www.angelfire.com/pe/txpls/articles/HIIT.html
"Research by Hickson et al (11) further supports the notion that the predominant fuel substrate used during exercise does not play a role in fat loss."
Also:
Overall, the evidence suggests that HIIT is the most efficient method for achieving fat loss.

#1 thing that determines the amount of muscle one can gain in any duration of time is genetics. if you want to know how much muscle you can put on in 4 months, ask your father how much he could put on at your age for a duration of 4 months. good luck on your upcoming obstacles.

So maybe I'll go with HIIT pyramiding on M-T-T-F with 10-15 minutes aerobic excercise (or boxing/sparring) after each workout and some hard HIIT cardio on one weekend day...and take in lots of protein for clean bulk.
Sound good?
1st, I wanna cut 6-8lbs this month so I look better as I'm gaining mass. The gf will like it much more.

Its not an easy task by anymeans and takes a certain level of knowledge of the body and its chemistry. Do some research and talk to a few other bodybuilders if you can. Use as many resources as youi can to put together an individualized program.
