I agree with Kid. Toney is straight up garbage. Anyone who supports this fat, ignorant low life is a pathetic waste of skin (Diego, Bozo etc.)
Peter-Toney on January 6!

You're not agreeing with anything because that's not what was being discussed.
This would be a great time for you to drop your "Toney's not a Hall of Fame Fighter" schtick.
Toney's one of a very few active legends.
Anyone who doesn't like Toney isn't a fan of boxing.Comment

Lol, Toney is an alltime great and a future hall of famer, it is more then I can say about your boy Hatton!
Why are you talking **** about your best buddy in Boxingscene???

Garbage as a person maybe, but as a boxing fan I have to at least acknowledge his talent. This is what's wrong with people, they let their feelings for a person cloud their judgement of that fighter.Last edited by paul750; 11-16-2006, 09:38 PM.Comment

Actually it does matter what he weighs. Twenty extra pounds on the body is twenty pounds on the body. I don't care what his conditioning training was, 260 is way too ****ing high for Peter. Even if he was in good cardiovascular health, Peter in the same conditiong but 20 lbs leaner (through diet) will have more snap in his punches and won't tire as quickly as he did that night. Physique isn't everything, and isn't the end all indicator of preperation or cardiovascular fitness, but extra weight that your heart has to pump blood to is still a burden.
The point is, Peter will not weigh 260 again for this fight. He will train harder and his men will work on his diet even if it means putting a chain on the fridge. Too much at stake here. If he's ****ing dumb enough to show up in the same shape he was in, he deserves to lose and I have no further interest in his career.Comment

Toney is a mumbling, ignorant fat ****er. The fact that you losers support his pathetic ass amuses me. Probably because you ***s don't even have 1/8th of the charisma he has...which isn't saying much really.
Losers...................

Dude...have you even followed his career? He is incredibly inconsistent and he DISRESPECTS the sport...showing up out of shape and such robbing the fans of their money. He's an incredibly talent and a natural born fighter, much like Duran, but the guys an uneducated ****in' ******.Comment

You were trying to insinuate he was in better shape in the Wlad fight, and that's asinine.
He threw at a career high vs Toney, and was in good condition in the fight for being Sam Peter.
That was the case, and it still wasn't enough.
He's not going to come in much better shape, and will lose much like he should have in the last fight, if not worse.Comment
