He did whoop Goofi Whitaker all over the ring....

Dont matter, Whitaker isnt exactly Briggs, I think Briggs is just too big, strong for Sultan.

briggs has fast hands, crazy power, and good counter punching. His defense and stamina is total ****, but he's still good enough to beat most of the heavyweights today.

Are you all serious? You definitely saw a lot more in Briggs last saturday than I did. I actually think less of him after the fight than I did before. His stamina is atrocious. Sultan is too aggressive and hits hard with both hands. He will set a pace that Briggs cannot match. I'd be surprised if Briggs lasts as long as Whittaker, who has a better chin and stamina.

im of the opinion that sultan was having a bad night against ray austin, and thats not something youll hear me say about a fighter often. he looked really sluggish, not half as good as he usually does. i think he'll wipe the floor with briggs.

I agree with what you say. only thing tho is sultans lack of defense. he looked very vulnerable and briggs can crack. so briggs will have that punchers chance

not sure where this fast hands thing is coming from. the lighter briggs did have very very fast hands,,,but at this weight his speed looks pretty average to me. his power is good,,,but he will have to be able to throw more than he did against serge. lets not forget,,,serge looked absoultely dreadful and a lot of fighters would have knocked him out the way he looked that night

All this based on him beating a depressed Sergei at the last second of a fight he was behind in? I think you're remembering the 1st and 12th round and nothing in between.

But you're missing my point, what I'm trying to tell you is that Ibragimov needs to learn (come up with a good game plan) to defeat a taller stronger fighter since he clearly had trouble doing that in the Austin fight. Granted, Briggs would probably collapse from exhaustion by the 6th round if he was fighting at the same pace as Austin was. However, I think he would KO Ibragimov if he caught him with a good punch in the early round, Briggs seemed incredibly strong.
yes,,,he's very capable of hurting and take out sultan. the thing is tho,,will he be able to throw enough punches. I just dont think he'd have beaten sultan if he fought the same way he fought serge. serge just seemed to cave in mentally and totally let briggs off the hook when he was gasping for air with his hands down. I couldnt see sultan letting him off the hook like that. I think sultan would have taken lyko out earlier if it was him in there. serge looked absolutely dreadful

ur forgetting that even when briggs is tired with his hands down he still throws great counter haymakers... He's always dangerous and he's got great timing against a smaller fighter who steps in with a punch.
