ibrag could not do a thing? did you watch the fight? sure he looked off and had a lot of trouble with austin but he did hurt him everytime he landed and it was a very close fight

yeah it was a good shot but if you have the video you can see that sultan isnt even looking as he throws it and austin almost appears to maneuver his face into the punch....

do you agree that the shot that dropped igbraminov wasnt even a good one, i think sultans chin is pretty suspect?

I've only seen Ibragimov against Austin. Based on that fight I have a hard time imagining him beating Briggs. If anyone has better Ibragimov fights please post sometime in the next ninety days.

I watched the fight and saw that Ibragimov didn't land much and whatever he landed didn't hurt Austin. The only thing that did hurt Austin was one wild punch that could have been avoided if Austin was a better fighter. Like I said, Ibragimov could not adjust to Austin's counter punching and could not do much before Austin started doing it. He needs to learn to fight larger fighters if he wants a chance against Briggs.

i think just about any decent fighter has a chance to beat briggs or oleg... they are two weak champs... i'd take brock, peter and toney over both of them...

then you must have watched it drunk. I agree,,that sultan looked like crap and was tentative,,but he clearly wobbled austin every time he hit him. problem was,,austin was hitting him with more frequency

**** Oscar, lets see Briggs vs Valuev, then Valuev/Briggs vs Klitscho to unite the titles once and for all. Lets stop playing around with these pointless mandatories, especially when the fights ARENT really mandatory.

No one's chin is suspect because of one knockdown or knockout. Gene Fullmer could take a baseball bat to the face and keep going and yet he was KO'ed by one left hook thrown by Robinson. These things happen in boxing. I would say Ibragimov has a solid chin. Maybe above solid.
