its called a gameplan and sergei fell into it and fought briggs' fight. lol whats with this depressed stuff, it has nothing to do with the fight

Are you serious? It has everything to do with the fight. He had no confidence whatsoever. That's like saying Tyson not having any confidence vs. Lewis had no bearing on the result of the match. Tyson looked better against Lewis than Sergei did with Briggs IMO. He threw more punches and fought with more intensity yet people thought he was sedated or drugged. Sergei fought looking worse than Mike did and you don't even notice it. Go figure.

ur forgetting that even when briggs is tired with his hands down he still throws great counter haymakers... He's always dangerous and he's got great timing against a smaller fighter who steps in with a punch.

he can crack no doubt. but sultan is much busier and briggs has such an awful defense that he's equally if not more vulnerable in my opinion. it is an interesting fight and I'll be very eager to see it. I cant see it being as boring as the serge fight

you seem to be forgetting all of briggs failures. sure he pulled the serge fight out and showed his power but I think sultan as bad as he looked his last fight is much better than serge. serge got his name off one big win over an unpredictable brewster who was within a hair of being stopped by mighty kali meehan. brewster came in that fight out of shape and ill prepared

yes,,,he's very capable of hurting and take out sultan. the thing is tho,,will he be able to throw enough punches. I just dont think he'd have beaten sultan if he fought the same way he fought serge. serge just seemed to cave in mentally and totally let briggs off the hook when he was gasping for air with his hands down. I couldnt see sultan letting him off the hook like that. I think sultan would have taken lyko out earlier if it was him in there. serge looked absolutely dreadful

Don't get me wrong, I would like to see Sultan win this one as well. You're right about Sultan taking Liakhovich out of there if it was him. In fact, 9 out of 10 HW would have taken Liakhovich out of there by 8, 1 out of 10 being Briggs, who took him out by 12.

As for amount of punches, it remains to be seen. If Sultan brings his best game on that night and will find a way to nullify Briggs' counterpunching, Briggs will collapse in the ring by round 6.

brewster was out of shape and did drop serge faster than briggs. he just couldnt put him away. not to mention serg was clearly in much better shape when he fought brewster

briggs didnt even try to knock him out until the 12th round, whos to say he wouldn't of knocked his ass out earlier if he had tried to. Also i heard people saying sergei looked in good shape before the fight happend
