Foreman at 250-260 lbs fought at a much higher pace than Briggs did, as did Samuel Peter against Toney and Danny Williams in many of his fights when he weighs 270-280 etc.. Briggs was pathetic in his punch output, the worst I can remember from any heavyweight. His weight of 268 lbs was no excuse, it's hist fault for bulking up so much and fighting at that weight. Let's call a lemon a lemon when that's what it is.

I think some people are haters on this forum and are just overly critical, but I also think we should be truthful at times and call a ****ty performance a ****ty performance. Neither men were impressive and should be ashamed of their preperation for this fight. Very out of shape, the two of them. They both could do better for themselves.

Another sign of just how much of a disgrace the heavyweight division has become. Decent fighters, awful fights.

I would say very bad work ethics.
We need to implement Soviet amateur boxing training styles.

wlad better watch out are you ****ing kidding me? if briggs stands in the middle of then ring and tries to throw his steroid fileld arms at wlad he will get knocked out. BAD and EARLY. wlad will run circles around briggs jabbing and dropping the big right hand on him in a similar way as he did to chris byrd. Briggs will land way less punches than byrd did on wlad and wlad will land way more on briggs than he did on byrd. Not even close wlad by brutal KO

I dunno, the way Briggs fights when he comes out early for a big KO is dangerous for Wladimir. Briggs paced himself better against Lyakhovich, he would be coming out with guns blazing ala the Lennox Lewis fight against Wlad, who is not as durable as Lyakhovich.

I agree, if he is gonna comeout against Wlad, like he did against Lewis, Wlad would be in danger for a first few rounds, but if he is gonna pace himself like he did yesterday, Wlad would be distating the fight with that pole of a jab.

are you serious? he got no pressure from serg at all and threw hardly anything until that last round and he still looked tired. if that was wlad in there he'd have been knocked out within 6 rounds
