Briggs showed good stamina? You could not be further from the truth. Samuel Peter has ten times the stamina Briggs has and that's pathetic.

God, I don't know what to say but congratulations to Shannon Briggs. He did something I thought he could do, but didn't think he would. All props to him, now he can walk down the street and everyone will be like "Look at this champion, look at this man!" He knew what he needed to do, and that was a knockout. Mad props to Lyakhovich, he didn't give the title up easy, that's for damn sure. He has mad balls, he needs some rest and then he should fight Brewster in a WBO eliminator. Two men fought in that ring last night.

About the Guerrero fight, what can I say but I told you so. I was never for a moment impressed with Guerrero, and now you know why.

He falls through the ropes with about 1 or 2 seconds left. It all depends on the rules of the bout. If they were going by the unified rules then the end of the round couldn't save him.

According to the unified rules, a fighter cannot by saved by the bell in any round including the 12th.

LMAO. That's gotta be embarassing. There was barely any time left.
Who was winning on the cards before that?

If you weigh 240 pounds and are knocking people out in the twelfth, you have good enough stamina to me. Some idiots who watch basketball players get tired and take a break and thwn are doing **** in the fourth quarter underestimate the energy it takes to fight for 12 rounds, especially at that size. As a fan of the sport I'm often ashamed of how other people diminish and try to discredit what a boxer does.

Sergei was winning even if he would've gotten up after 2 kds he would've still won the fight by atleast 2 rounds

                  Go Briggs

                    You are right on spot.
Many criticise the heavys, not really understanding that HW boxing is completely different game from lighter divisions.
The pace is much slower because it is real hard to be quick when you weight 240+ pounds and it is real hard to keep swinging for 12 rounds when you weight as much.

I didn't see the fight, but that must've ****** for Sergei, But one cannot complain about the fact that a fight was stopped with ten seconds left. Remember Chavez Vs Taylor?
