There are not nearly as many Danes on the site... (2-3??) and they are somewhat more reasonable... HUH??? I am Canadian.. I just live here man.. and I haven't said JOE is the BOMB.. just THAT Kessler is unproven compared to him.. and that the Danes are excited to finally have some claim to fame besides PASTRIES.. am I WRONG?

It IS great to have a danish contender.. Why shouldn´t i think so? I can´t really be unhappy to finally seeing the real deal live.

But that is not the reason why I have high regards about him. I´ve seen all his fights. Isn´t it natural that danes know more about him and regard him higher, than people who seen just a few? I don´t really care about him being Danish (he´s half english) he could be a mexican or what ever.

I could post a lot more about the champinship fights they show live over here a lot of sunday mornings, but i honestly think there is somebody somewhere who knows a lot more than me, and therefor i´d rather read instead.
And as you can see, my english doesn´t come all that easy..

Really there is NOTHING wrong with being Danish and cheering on a Danish fighter.. The cheering was just being done at expense of other fighters and the claims were getting a little over the top.. He may very well beat Calzaghe and rule the division for years.. BUT he hasn't yet..

Well apologies for thinking you were a brit then. But try taking off them Calzaghe lover's glasses of yours and read your own post again. Then tell me your any better than the ones you accuse.
You gang up with the likes of Beowulf and SHB - who if anything are bigger nuthuggers than me or the other danes you mention.

And yes - we are happy and excited there's finally a good danish boxer out there worth talking about. But it's not like that is at all different from the brits going on about how incredible Calzaghe is despite looking crap in every other fight against sub top-20 opposition.

Yes Calzaghe's record at this point is better than Kessler's - but it bloody well should be with Calzaghe being 8 years older than Kessler. With that in mind Calzaghe doesn't come across as being all that special compared to the potential that can be seen in Kessler.

And as for Lacy's resume being better than Kessler's (perhaps not your argument). That's certainly debateable. I doubt even most american posters feel that way anymore - So are such a statement ANY less biased than what we danes are saying?
