is it out the question for both fighters to win? hell no but im sure 90% of this forum will disagrea
for hatton to win hes gonna have to take mayweather wheres hes never been before and thats an all out war on the ropes
which isnt outta the question because hatton is one opf the best at cutting the ring off and has got arguable the best stamina in the game today.
for mayweather to win hes gonna have to keep hatton on the outside which is gonna be easier said than done but for some1 with the skills of floyd it aint outta the question
I disagree with you saying that Mayweather would only win on points. Floyd is probably the most accurate puncher in the game and Hatton has a tendancy to cut. If Hatton gets cut, Floyd will pound on it and open it up. Also, Hatton may have great stamina, but Floyd does also. I wouldn't say anyone has an advantage in that department. IMO, the bottom line for this fight is that Hatton needs to get Floyd to fight a war and I don't see it happening. Hatton would need to fight a near flawless fight and Floyd would need to have a bad night. I just don't see Hatton winning.

I know, I know, but let's keep it civil, yeah? I made this thread for civility. Be peaceful now.

Besides, I do think that Mitchell has - sadly - because a benchmark for boxers to test themselves on lately. It's a shame but he's got old.

Dont, everyone out there will be putting it all on hatton, driving the odds through the roof in his favor, ill be betting on castillo not because i care to see hatton lose, because if the brits go crazy betting on him, i can possibly win some cash.

Both Castillo and Mayweather would beat Hatton. I don't see nothing special in him and his style.. Someone will catch him good and put a loss on his record. He got schooled by Collazo. Which i though Collazo got robbed in that fight.

I initially thought that Hatton lost the fight, but watching it again I could see the win on the cards.

How did you score it? Bear in mind all Hatton had to do to win was take half the rounds with the KD in the first.

Collazo was a naturally bigger man who fought from the southpaw position. Floyd and Castillo are smaller men than Hatton and fight from an orthodox position (though Floyd can switch). Let's not also forget that it was Hatton's first fight at a new weight. I'm not saying that he would be effective at 147 if he got used to it, but I'd like to see more than one fight before jumping to conclusions.

Hatton vs PBF is an easy call, Hattons lack of defensive skill and lack of one punch power make him an easy target for PBf. He would pick him apart by the 8th round and send him to the canvas for the count. Now Bigpoppa said earlier that HAtton will walk thru castillo and he knows it! no way! IMO This will be the worst decision hatton has made in choosing to fight castillo, an inside fighter who has power, defense, an underated jab and outside fighting skills. CAstillo has been fighting weight issues for years and if in fact he conquers these at 140 with Arums new crush, Team velocity, I think he will be the one walking thru HAtton!. Uh oh yeah, once again Floyd easily beats Ricky!

Mayweather is open to the left over the top, thats where i think Hatton can exploit him if they ever meet. Billy Graham pointed this out, hes 100% certain Hatton will beat him, looks like were gonna have to wait till end of 2007 for this fight which is a complete sham and the promoters of the sport should be ashamed of them selves. I used to be a very big fan of Hatton but if he fights only once/twice next year I won't be buying any more PPV's from him. Hattons got the money to retire now and I got a feeling complecency is creeping in, no matter what he says about wanting to be "P4P 1". One fight in a year is ridiculous, what ever you say about Frank Warren is atleast he kept him active.

Both fighters are to money oriented, they both could retire and have fantastic lives with the money they've got but they both still argue about who should get this and who should get that. I would'nt want to pick a winner until i've seen Ricky fight Urango and see if hes back to his exciting best, for some reason I can't see this happening im pretty sure hes going to be ring rusty.

If the pair do ever fight I think Mayweather will have his toughest fight, Hatton is great at cutting the ring down and is a intelligent fighter so I don't think Mayweather will be able to box from the outside the whole fight. People say Mayweather will do what he did to Gatti, Gatti was unprepared for that match and what was he thinking trying to out box him, he even ask Hatton what to do the day before they fought.

I would like to see how many PPV sales Mayweather gets vs Baldomir, even if he is the best out there some of the money hes asking for each fight is silly considering he ain't the most popular guy in the world.

hatton would have to make it an inside brawl to have a chance against mayweather.i can see hatton holding and headbutting and backing up boyfloyd and making him look bad with the help from a britt ref.over there he could win a contraverserial sd with the help of mayweather blowing it in later rounds.i think hattons one of the smartest boxers out there and knows he's going to have to make it a dirty fight to win. boyfloyds power is questionable to me. but my money will be on floyd.

Castillo is tailor made for Hatton, not the other way around. Hatton punches harder than Corrales. It's going to be a dog fight at close range and I don't see Castillo being able to push Hatton back.
As an employee of BS your supposed to be smarter then this pump, cmon now.

Your taking about Baldomir walking around at 160 and then ask if that makes him a good middleweight, what the **** does thgis have to do with anythng? If I wanted to talk with Mannyp I would PM him.

What I said was basically that Castillo has been fighting at 140 for some time now(according to Dougie Fischer he has not made the 135 pound limit in at least 5 of his fights since 2001), I never discusssed his walk around weight so why bring it up?

Hatton punches harder then Chico-this is crazy talk.

Pump, BTW your one hell of a moderator!
