lol, actually as a pacnuthugger, i believe that manny can fight at 135 or even higher ...

but the morales fight showed me how small pac really is and how much disadvantage he is fighting against the bigger boys ...

for me PAC has to clean-up 130 and close the division (EM, MAB, Valero, Guzman) before entertaining any thoughts of fighting at 135 ...

        Good call.

I just think that at this stage in his career, Manny is fighting great, but he would fall victim to the big punchers at 135. Pac is not terribly hard to find and he could get caught by the bigger guys.

I.E., I thought the most dangerous fight for Pac from 135 down would have been Acelino Frietas. But Popo is retired now.

Yup that is the #1 reason, no need for the third fight, Pac Morales in the second fight, it wasn't a close fight like the first fight, considering the cut on Pac and not having his normal gloves made the second fight really exciting!

Watch the fight again, Morales was ahead before fading down the stretch. (Due to weight AND some good body work by Pac)

The fight was closer than most remember.

Morales should rematch Raheem, he needs to prove that he's better then Raheem!

Okay........does Pac need to rematch the two guys who knocked him out too, while we are at it?

Pac was 17 and 20 when he lost, he was not a well respected champion at that time, but Morales was Morales when he lost 11 rounds to Raheem, he needs to beat Raheem soon!

A loss is a loss, Raheem might very well just have Morales number.
If Zahir would have beaten Popo than I would have been in favor of the rematch.

I read somewhere that the the original schedule of Team Pac for Manny was to fight MAB, JMM, EM, fight Popo at 130 as his last fight, then retire ... would that been a great fight !?

although 135 now is no longer the LW of yesterday, lossing Castillo, Chico and Popo almost in succession, the guys are still a lot bigger compared to manny, but i can still see him doing well against the smaller LW ...
