Calzaghe apparently holds a paper title, bollocks, the organisation is irrelevant its the champion that counts, who gives a **** really by what belt is held these days because you can have great fighters holding so called 'paper titles' and **** fighters holding the so called 'great titles' this make a mockery of that argument and you only need to look at the governing bodies top ten fighters to realise this, none of them are in line and its all about who does what and when for who not pure boxing ability and standard!

Also again it never ceases to amaze me by the short memory spans on here, 8months ago Lacy was the next superstar, Calzaghe absolutely destroys him and he is now overrated and untalented and the win meant nothing, of course it did Lacy had looked very good leading up to that fight and it wasn't that he lost but the way he lost, Calzaghe won everything yet still doubt???

19 defences regardless of the lack of so called world class fighters must still be applauded because it is hardly never done, to maintain the weight and the discipline, to keep rolling over opponents even on bad nights is a feat, so back to the theme Hopkins had the more impressive reign but if Calzaghe takes one or two big names out before he retires then he will take the crown if not then Hopkins is the deserved winner.
    Couldnt agree more Mickey.

mean people paid for lewis/tyson. and this is two steps above. but i know it won't happen.
It is as good a fight as can be made right now in our sport.

Just curious, is Sakio Bika one of those names? Or were you thinking a more epic scale like Clinton Woods?

Calzaghe would have to have an amazing storybook end to his career to bring his legacy anywhere near that of Hopkins. That's pure homerism to forecast something like that.

Bernard added to his resume going out as the Undisputed LightHeavyweight Champion.

Calzaghe still hasn't had a fight in that division. Last I heard he was calling out mid range top ten Lt Heavys to fight him at a catch weight.

I used to start threads about Hopkins on internet message boards and nobody ever replied! He was a Nobody until right at the end of his career when he fought some blown-up, washed-up 'names'.

The fact that you don't even have Calzaghe in your top 10 lb4lb pretty much writes you off as insane, and makes your views irrelevant nonsense.

Here's a question, dunno if it's been raised so far:

If The Blow got a match with Hopkins, would that then render this question obsolete, even though it's an old Hopkins?

The equation would be that Hopkins had Tito and Oscar, etc. (though let's not even get into the issue of their size).

So by that notion that means Hopkins > Oscar/Tito.

So would logic dictate that Hopkins on record > Oscar/Tito on record?

You see what I mean? All of which, of course, assumes that the Blow beats Hopkins...

              LOL

You start 100's of threads about Eubank that no one replies to. If you're twisting 'who's a great fighter' into topics you create that produce a great deal of discussion, you've got some very self defeating logic.

You're just a brilliant, brilliant man. It's too bad your life was ruined the minute your dorky father busted a nut and made some pathetic little asian dude who couldn't deal with real life and make friends.

Coming from a 17 year old screech look-a-like who needs e-advice online, that's really insulting. Especially the part about pretending I'm asian.

Keep up the good factory work. Who need the U-of-Sait. ::::
