i just became a hatton fan after reading that article, we need more fighters who are very motivated to fight that many times a year...

What did hatton say in the article that make you a fan of his? by him lying to everybody about him saying he wants to fight floyd? that his style can beat him? but yet he is fighting a bum fighter in urango who only got 17 wins lol.

Floyd is facing a fighter that is undefeated for 8 years while hatton is facing who? lol yea.

A guy with one of his belts whilst he waits for the Castillo fight, that's who. It still makes it 4 title fights in 2 weight classes on the bounce. I've never seen him fight but some people are calling a Urango win so he can't be that bad, can he?

6 months ago, you were all saying that Baldomir was **** and he was lucky to get his win over an "unfocussed" Judah. Beating up on a totally shot Gatti, coming up in weight, changes all that? An 8 year winning streak would seem impressive, until you see who it was against. LOL. Throw in the fact that he was going to lose to Clottey (the guy that everyone's bagging on Margarito for fighting) before the DQ and it puts it all in perspective. The spin of the Floyd fan always makes me chuckle, keep it up.

heh, none of this matters as they'll likely never fight, Ricky's retreated from 147, and Floyd would never bother going back to 140, all the big money fights are at 147 and 154.

That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying the Baldomir fight is not legit in it's own right, Floyd's levels above him. He's fortunately timed it so he's meeting probably the weakest undisputed WW champion that I can remember. In fact the last 4 or 5 WW champs have been amongst the weakest in history. If a prime DLH, Mosley or Trinidad was still at the weight, you wouldn't see Floyd for dust. Just like he didn't go anywhere near Tszyu at 140.

You brought up the 8 year streak so an opponent 7 years ago would be valid. He also happens to be probably the best fighter he faced in that run, Judah aside. The Clottey fight was in England so I doubt that you saw it, or was even aware of it. At no point was Clottey hurt in the last 2 rounds when he was getting warned. He was pretty unfortunate to get dq'd, it was more about his style than intention. Nice bull**** attempt though.
