If a prime DLH, Mosley or Trinidad was still at the weight, you wouldn't see Floyd for dust. Just like he didn't go anywhere near Tszyu at 140.
Floyd's levels above hatton too, what's the point. And I think u need to go back to the Brusseles fight. He stated at the post interview he was willing to go up to 147 to face Delahoya or Mosley. He fought briefly at 140, he can only fight 1 fight at a time and I beleive kostya had already lost to Hatton. Hatton didn't want to fight neither did Cotto so he had to leave to find challenges. i don't see how u can be mad at Floyd for that, your anger should be directed at Hatton and Cotto.

hatton moved up to 147 to chase the mayweather fight , moves back down because he doesnt feel comfortable at the wieght but stated he would return for a floyd fight.
geofhayes is right because hattons diet and conditioning was based on filling out at 10 stone (140) 7 weeks prior to the fight lazcano pulls out with injury , yah ricky was nowhere near the 140 limit but he also nowhere near fighting condition so hes conditioning would of been adjusted alot to suite 147. Even tho we got a imobile ricky hatton against collazo if the adjustments wasnt taken we wud of gotten a 140 prepared fighter with 7ilbs of fat for extra wieght.
ricky has always stated he wants the floyd fight but has never stated when , now hes laid down a date for the fight if he dont take the fight im gonna turn into the biggest hatton hater .
this time next year floyd ill most probs be venturing at 154 sothe fight is still very possable at 147 and with a full camp to adjust into a welterwieght for both fighters they will be excuses for any loss on both camps.
and once again ricky hatton will win

Hatton didnt move up to 147 to chase the pbf fight, he moved up because lazcano pulled out with a broken finger and collazo was the only opponent hbo would accept

The fact is that Hatton is scared of real competition at welterweight. There's nobody at 140. All the titleholders are weak. It's just a piece of **** division. He has one tough fight at 147 and he runs. I think Collazo was just a really bad match up for Hatton. He could have done well against a lot of the other top welters, but he ran like a ***** before we could find out...

Have to agree: Hatton can use the excuse that it was hard for him to get adjusted at 147, but he failed to do the "honorable" thing, give a rematch to the fallen Champ and also prove that it was a "fluke"

BUT, Hatton admitted that 147 wasn't for him, so I don't have to hard of a feeling for it, at least he knows his limitiations.

Nah, he has a few decent wins and one great win and I'd take his wins over the last 18 months over Floyd's any day of the week.

He's always said he'd go back to 147 for certain fights, Mayweather especially, but he's decided to campaign at the weight he's comfortable at. Can't say I blame him and I'm more than happy for him to fight Castillo, Witter, Harris and possibly Cotto and Corrales over Margarito, Baldomir & Williams.

And don't act like Floyd was moving into the stronger competition when he went to 147. There was only really Judah waiting there at that time. He was at 140 a year before Hatton beat Tszyu and could have easily made the fight with Kostya before Hatton got to him. I wonder why he never even called him out?

After Floyd backed out of his offer to fight in England, Hatton asked for a couple of fights to acclimatise to fighting in the US and build his profile. Not because he didn't feel ready as a fighter as you're trying to imply.

If you're seriously saying that you think Baldomir has a better record than Hatton then I'm done with you. I'm just gonna sit here and laugh at you every time you post.

So what does your boy do, he moves down to face lesser competition. The WW division is the most exciting division and hatton leaves it. Now ask yourself does he really want to compete? It don't appear that way to me. Say what you want about Baldomir, but he has proven his worth in the ring, something hatton can't say.

So he has a built in excuse whenever he decides to come up to 147 again and loses? Great...

Regarding Tsyzu, Kostya was injured for nearly 2 years from the beginning of 2003 after the Leija fight until he had the rematch with Mitchell at the end of 2004. Floyd Mayweather didn't even debut at 140 for the first time until like mid-2004. When Tsyzu came back from his injury, he had to defend against Mitchell (interim champion) or be stripped. Then after that fight, he had to fight Hatton who was the #1 contender. So when exactly during that time could Floyd fight him?

Then Floyd realized Hatton is a ***** and didn't want to fight, so rather than sitting in a division with no one else worth fighting he went up to 147. That's completely unlike Hatton who is happy sitting at 140 with a bunch of no names...

Come on admit it, you're just desperate to see him lose. Why would you not want to see him fight at his absolute best so there's no excuses if he loses?

Floyd called out Tszyu quite a few times and it was obvious Tszyu was NEVER going to get near Floyd mayweather. Thats why the fight was never discussed because Tszyu at no time expressed intrest in the fight and it was never going to happen. Not to mention Tszyu was so inactive with injuries etc, at what point would a Tszyu fight even have taken place? Come on.

No he didn't. The only time I've heard him speak of Tszyu he was more respectful than I've heard him of any fighter. That's not the reaction you get from Floyd if he's called you out several times. Kostya's never ducked anyone in his life to my knowledge.

Floyd could have got to Tszyu before Hatton did. I'm sure it would have generated more money so there's no way Tszyu would have turned it down if the offer was on the table.
