Williams is the #1 challenger, Clottey #5. Margarito has to fight Williams now or later. If he really wants to get big fight why is he going to fight two unproven guys instead of just one? Margarito had a few guys call him out that were better than Clottey and he didn't take the fights. If he's going to claim that he's the most feared man in boxing then he needs to back it up by fighting the decent fighters calling him out, not an unproven guy like Clottey.

Williams beating Mitchell isn't that big of a deal, but Mitchell is more proven than anyone Clottey has ever beaten. Plus, Paul Williams is his mandatory. How is Margarito going to talk about wanting big fights, yet he's doesn't want to get his mandatory out of the way as soon as possible? The man fears Paul Williams, plain and simple. If he has the style than he needs to shut the **** up, stop leading us on, stop fighting Juan Urango type opponents, stop moving up in weight then moving down, stop receiving calls from team mayweather than saying your going to defend against otay urkal, then vacate the belt, then fight a guy whos only had 18 fights.
