Michalczewski - not near his best in '03.

Calzaghe - I'm not a fan of his, but I never fell asleep during any of his fights where he wasn't fighting with a broken hand.

Now **** off. I'm not wasting my time with North American's, I'd rather get laid.

As for the Jones boy, physically he was the most awesome fighter I've ever seen. But mentally he's a joke, post-'95 he's a joke, and outside of boxing he's a joke.

Now go and get laid or something.

I think Eubank and Benn are great fighters. Just not as great as Jones.

And you'll find a huge majority of fans and media agree with that.

You're in the handfull that wouldn't, and so you have (for years) gone out of your way to trash Jones.

Nothing you can say is going to change that you rant about Jones because you're upset he gets more credit than the fighters you like.

Yes, Boozo and why shouldn't he be upset that Roy Jones gets too much credit. Maybe because of the reason that he actually does get more credit then he deserves.

Start a new thread about this.

Your denying Toney's a great or Hall of Fame fighter is always a hilarious topic, but it's out of place here.

Seriously, start a "Is James Toney a Great Fighter" thread, and tell us all about it.

Jones fought nobody apart from a bunch of washed-up guys, Hopkins fought nobody apart from a couple of blown-up welterweights.

Toney fought and beat Michael Nunn, Reggie Johnson and Mike McCallum in their primes, and his performance against Iran Barkley showed a level of skill that far exceeds anything I've ever seen from Hopkins or Jones. He's also been in with and whooped the asses of Doug DeWitt, Prince Charles Williams and Vassiliy Jirov, and schooled undefeated prospects like Merqui Sosa and Tim Littles who were never the same after losing to Toney.

I though Toney was the pound-for-pound best in boxing, but he ate himself out of the fight with Jones - he beat himself more than Jones beat him. You saw the best of Roy Jones against James Toney, but you saw the worst of James Toney. Why do you think that Jones never gave him a rematch?

Toney, when he was 'on', was the smoothest of counter-punchers, the slickest of infighters.. and he has the best resume in boxing by miles.

What does that have to do with this thread, or Anorak's suggestion he isn't a great fighter?

You're rotating through topics here to try and disagree with me because you miss me.

When I posted in this thread, you were arguing for Jones with Juicy. Now you're flip flopping just because you want to argue with me.

Like I said, start your Toney thread and we'll talk. K little guy?

There's a little nugget of sense every once in a while in all of your madness.

There's nothing really great about Jones, apart from his athletic physical ability, nobody knows who he is outside of boxing. He's not Chris Eubank and he's not Nigel Benn, sorry. Eubank's the greatest one-off the game has seen, and there was nothing quite like a Benn fight.

You can't help but feel sorry for Bozo. I fear for the guy..

Seriously, what you say is honestly not true. What can I say? It's just not true what your saying.

None of that changes the fact Jones is the better fighter, and will go down in boxing history as such.

You're only underlining your motives for hating on Jones with posts like this.

"Yes, Jones may be great, but Eubank is a hero to me and audiences over here. Benn fights make me feel excited".

Good for you. They're great fighters.

                      But they're not Roy Jones.
