Okay, I've dug through the thread and found SIX replies to the actual question. Nice to see people understanding and responding to the thread itsel, rather than just chidlish name-calling. Remember guys, this is a DISCUSSION forum and I was just asking a simple, civil question. If you want to name call and all the rest of it, you know where the Thunderdome is. It's there for a REASON.

As the six are very close in ratings, I must assume that it's a fair indication of what BS as a whole would think. (Hey, if you think not, you should have answered!)

Here's Roy's prime opponents ranked in chronological order:

            Bernard Hopkins - A
            Fermin Chirino - D
            Danny Garcia - D
            Thomas Tate - B-
            James Toney - A
            Antoine Byrd - C+
            Vinny Pazienza - B
            Tony Thornton - C+
            Merqui Sosa - B
            Eric Lucas - C
            Bryant Brannon - C
            Mike McCallum - B
            Montell Griffin - B+
            Virgil Hill - B+
            Lou Del Valle - C+
            Otis Grant - C+
            Richard Frazier - D
            Reggie Johnson - B
            David Telesco - D+
            Richard Hall - D+
            Eric Harding - B
            Derrick Harmon - D+
            Julio Gonzalez - B-
            Glen Kelly - D-
            Clinton Woods - B
            John Ruiz - B-

              Lou Del Valle (C+)
              Otis Grant (C+)
              Eric Lucas
              Bryant Brannon

              D-Grade opponents:
              David Telesco (D+)
              Richard Hall (D+)
              Derrick Harmon (D+)
              Fermin Chirino
              Danny Garcia
              Richard Frazier
              Glen Kelly (D-)

Is Glen Kelly really Roy's worst opponent?

How anybody can rank Woods, Gonzalez, Tate, Sosa and Ruiz above even a washed-up Thornton is beyond me.. and to rank Byrd, Del Valle and Otis Grant alongside Thornton? Sorry.

Thornton was legit, made Jones look bad until his shoulder went. And this was a 35-year-old Thornton.
