Never to fight tito again? lol. This rematch never happens cause tito always overpricing himself that's why. Tito thinks in his ****** head that he is a bigger draw then oscar which is ******ed. Why don't ppl realize that? I like tito as a fighter but as a person he's a greedy bastard. If tito would have accept the 60/40 in oscar favor back in 1999 then this rematch would have happen and tito would have lost bad in the rematch to oscar. Tito is a not a bigger draw then oscar whoever think otherwise is an idiot.

Oscar arguably got screwed in his fight with Tito, legitimatly lost his first fight with Mosely, got screwed in his second fight with Mosely and then had his liver damn near lacerated by Hopkins. But each time he got up and came back to fight again, and had some impressive wins after those defeats.

Tito on the other hand gets schooled by Hopkins, and save for a virtual exhibition against a never-was in Cherif, goes running off into a sulking retirment to wallow in his wussitude because that big meanie Bernard Hopkins beat him and hurt his feewings. Three years after Hopkins he finally comes back, gets one impressive win before going up against Winky and eats leather for 12 rounds. What does Tito do after the Winkster pitches a virtual shutout against him? Runs right back into retirement to sulk some more.

Fighters with a great legacy also learn to bounce back from defeat. Leonard did. Hearns bounced back from a loss to Leonard and a devastating defeat to Hagler. Duran came back and won a MW belt years after getting crushed by Hearns. And Hagler bounced back from two early career defeats as well as totally being screwed in the so-called "draw" with Vito Antofuermo (a fight which even Vito says Marvin won). All those guys learned to bounce back, learned to deal with setbacks and came back even stronger. Their unquestioned legacies are earned.

DLH also showed ability to bounce back from a defeat. All Tito has shown in the wake of a loss is the ability to announce his retirement so he could run home and cry on daddy's shoulder. Yeah, some legacy.
        DUDE EXCELLENT POST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          Last I heard

"To show the boxing fans how much of a coward Oscar is, we would accept a 50-50 split on the money," stated Trinidad, "but the fight must be signed at 160."

than all the sites stoped reporting, and the arguement came to a complete stop...

You can't speculate what would happen if they fought and say that erases trinidads loss, that is ignorant.

trinidad. dlh is one of the more overated fighters of the past 15 years. his wins are full of controversy. i give him credit for what he did from 126-140 but 147 and above i do not give him much credit.

Again Tito had 1 controversial decision how many did DLH have? I didn't see DLH complaining when they gave him the nod versus Whittaker, Quartey and Strum.

DLH has gotten his share. However the fact is Tito fought everyone at WW who was anyone while he was at WW. I dont see why in order to like DLH you have to be a Tito hater and vice versa.

I like DLH and he will probably have the better legacy due to his marketability and fame among the casual fans and even non-boxing fans. However, Tito is IMO the better fighter.

That being said Oscar ****ed himself by leaving it in the hands of the judges the way he finished. Worst case scenario, I think a draw would have been more acceptable.
Yea, Oscar won. I actually had him winning 8 rounds, the only rounds Trinidad won were the ones that DLH didnt do too much. Bad decision.

Umm i'm talking about back in 1999. Oscar has said that he will decide who he will fight in dec for the may mega fight. It's either mayweather or trinidad.
