Tito did not beat DLH, Oscar gave the fight away and unless I am mistaken and my math is wrong Oscar won at least 7 of the 12 rounds easily and no matter what the end of the fight looked like 7 rounds out of 12 is a win. That being said Oscar ****ed himself by leaving it in the hands of the judges the way he finished. Worst case scenario, I think a draw would have been more acceptable.

The whittaker and the quartey fights was easily a close fight that could go either way. Whoever think otherwise is an idiot. The one fight i say oscar should of not won is the sturm fight but that's oscar fought for being way out of shape. The bottomline is oscar has way better legacy then tito and whoever think otherwise don't know crap about boxing.
          Good psot raymon!!!!!!!!!

Your right a win is a winand a loss is a loss, but don't say that Tito beat Oscar because that didn't happen. Technically he has the W but he didn't beat him, there is a big difference.

sorry playa...Tito beat DLH....just check the records...it was a fight that could have indeed went either way..judges judge different things within a fight..They judged Tito as the winner...He beat DLH and other great fighters also...He also lost to two great fighters as well..legacy has it that DLH is the better money maker and TITO is the better champion/fighter..

Overall in boxing, though, you have to go with DLH. I don't really like the man, but he was the face of boxing for year, and brought many new fans to the sport. He continues to build a legacy outside the ring by bringing legendary fighters together into Golden Boy Promotions.

Also, even though DLH was given many gifts, (Whittaker, Quartey, Sturm all pop to mind), the one big gift that Tito got was DLH, and that will count in the reckoning more because it was 2 legends in the ring.
It depends on how you define the word legacy. Is legacy defined as being considered by the masses to have had a greater career? Or is it defined by actually having a greater career?

Will we let people who couldn't pick Margarito, Paul Williams, Jorge Arce, Acelino Freitas and Casamayor out of a police lineup define Legacy? If so then yes, DLH "The Face of Boxing" will have a better Legacy than Trinidad.

And by that same definition Mike Tyson will have a better Legacy than Foreman, Patterson and Holmes.

It was an ugly win for Oscar, but your not gonna look good against Whitaker. I will give you the Strum fight, but I also think that had Oscar would have taken him serioiusly and been in shape he would have easily beaten Strum but i will make no excuses and agree he shouldn't have gotten that decision. It obviously had to do with the Hopkins fight on the horizon.
I had Oscar winning the Quartey fight also but just mentioned it because many saw it the other way. However I do think Whittaker and Strum both beat DLH. I was simply naming those fights because Trinidads detractors are quick to point to Tito's "Gift" decision when criticizing his career but fail to see that DLH has gotten the benefit of more controversial fights than Tito who only has 1.
