Who cares what people vote for now. Fact is after the fight most people in the world felt Collazo won. Almost every web site had a poll and Collazo was ahead on just about all of them if not all. But another fact is Hatton won. I felt Collazo won but *** it, its over. Collazo fans stop being sore losers and Hatton fans stop being sore winners.
Hatton - Collazo... a show of hands

alot of the sites did have collazo winning or at least a draw. and the sites aren't biased, most of them tell it how it is...
the point is that hatton won, by the judges eyes. which is the one that counts.
but don't forget, none of those judges had any championship experience.
Boston was home to many hatton fans from england. they were deep that weekend. Boston treated hatton like a king for that week.
it didn't help that hbo just signed hatton for a 3 fight deal. the collazo fight was the first, if he would of lost it would not look good for hbo. everyone knows hbo is a key player in boxing these days.
just take it for what its worth.
why not the rematch?Comment

After I watched the fight I felt that Collozo won, but I didn't actually score the fight so if I did, it may have turned out different. Plus, I felt that Hatton really didn't do enough to take the belt away. Its not enough to barely beat a champ you have to take the belt away, thats how it is in boxing. The fight was not a robbery, it was a close fight. People had said that its better for boxing if Hatton won, so theres that thought hanging around. Im not saying I believe it Im just saying its been said before.Comment

Most public observers, ringside observers, as well as judges score even rounds when they don't see much activity and few landed punches. Get over that line of thinking please.

HBO will lose the money and the hype around Hatton and the cant market him for bigger and more money fights.
if Hatton lost to Callazo then they loss there investment in Hatton but if Callazo lost which have really a smaller name than Hatton then its okay because they say it would happen.
Callazo is not a brand name that they could sell but Hatton is.
If it doesnt make penny then it doesnt make sense.Comment
