Lewis was beaten, not by great fighters, not in a really tough fight.
He was caught and KO'd because he was overconfident, and unfocused.
Avenging loses to fighters he should never have lost to in the first place doesnt make him a great champion.

Ali beating Spinks in the rematch didnt make Ali any better of a champion IMO. He beat a guy he should have beaten the first time around. And Ali was already great.

I give Lewis all the credit in the world for being a dominant champion, and at his best he was great.

But dismissing his loses by saying "he was just unfocused that night" happens too often. Im not discrediting him for losing, but for the manner in which he lost and to the opposition he lost to.

Basically wat im saying is with heavywieghts, anything can happen, but for it to happen twice with Lewis always makes me question him as a truly great champion.
He was great, but i question his greatness.
