Does the fact Fury tried to commit suicide indicate mental weakness?

some interesting viewpoints. He's 100% a quitter and a liar I'm glad he beat Wilder another dense nutcase who can barely string a sentence together but I can't respect that type of quitter.

To commit suicide is to essentially to quit on life so chances are he could be forced to quit in the ring as well?
His recovery shows his strength. Fury could go down as the best heavy ever

What with one good win? Wilder is and was unproven the Wlad win is a good one. He's never defended his title how is he going to go down as the best ever? he's also had a steroid ban. he'll quit when it gets hard and jump off a bridge or something

Abhorrence does not equate to abstinence, and, in his case abhorrence is used as the ultimate form of smarty-pantsism.

In plain words, men who truly believe they know nothing don't teach. Teacher is a position of knowledge. Socrates was a smartass and a hypocrite.

I think it's plain that Fury has had in the past some mental issues. To term it weakness isn't understanding the medical part of it. I'm not a fan of Fury in fact I think he's a bit of a jerk but he didn't quit in the first fight so I don't see your point at all.

Seems to be a lot of ‘old fashioned’ views here on mental illness.

I don’t agree having a mental illness makes you weak

In 2018 by best friend took his own life. To balance mental illness and your day to day life to the point no one knew he was struggling takes a lot of strength.

He then ended it by jumping in front of a train.

Could you imagine standing on a bridge and making the decision to jump off in front of a speeding train?

I always used to think suicide was a cowards way out, but it’s takes a brave person to take that step!

It takes balls to do what he did, a lot of strength, not weakness!

Damn, if i was doing it i dont think i would jump off the bridge first, is the being hit by a speeding train not enough to do the job?

                    overkill possibly?

I like how people try to say he uses it as an excuse for his drug offenses

How come he mentioned in all the way back in 2012 then?

& in 2014 into 2015 it was clear he was becoming severely depressed.

He did an interview with Kugan on IFL couple of months before the Klitscko bout and he was totally depressed.

Fury also shows clear signs of bi polar disorder which he has been diagnosed with.

So all you drug test failure people need to jog on
