Does the fact Fury tried to commit suicide indicate mental weakness?

It's not about Fury, I don't care much for the guy out the ring. It's the attitude here about mental illness. Hopefully karma doesn't bite you. What exactly did you call out? That mentally ill people are weak? That people who attempt suicide are quitters? You're an ignorant fool man. Live with that.Comment

No I didn't state that and no point did I mention mental Illness others did. Not everyone who commits suicide has mental health problems. You and other people made it about mental health, not me I made it about Fury looking for a way out because things got hard. It's not about Fury, I don't care much for the guy out the ring. Dumb post.
Whatever mental health issues Fury may have outside a boxing ring, he is 100% focused inside it.
Leave the rest up to the experts.Comment

Am I right in thinking he suffers from, or has suffered from, real mental health issues?
People suffering from those kind of problems are some of the strongest people mentally you could meet. They fight every day, more than some people do in a lifetime.Comment

Suicide does not come from mental weakness. It comes from depression. Depression, we can’t see it, but it is something that physically affects your brain. There are mental illnesses that actually affect your brain physically. Most people still don’t know that, usually men who try to be extra tough. But plenty of studies and brain scans show that some mental illnesses are actually illnesses that can be seen doing their job on the human brain.Comment

It can actually be both. You can have a genuine mental illness and still be using it as a convenient, BS excuse/deflection as and when it suits you. I personally know people who have done this and if you read the news you'll notice most criminals do it. They always have PTSD, depression etc and try to use it as some sort of mitigation.I like how people try to say he uses it as an excuse for his drug offenses
How come he mentioned in all the way back in 2012 then?
& in 2014 into 2015 it was clear he was becoming severely depressed.
He did an interview with Kugan on IFL couple of months before the Klitscko bout and he was totally depressed.
Fury also shows clear signs of bi polar disorder which he has been diagnosed with.
So all you drug test failure people need to jog on
I have to say though, this is more interesting and of a higher quality than your average troll thread.Last edited by Apollo7; 02-18-2021, 11:47 AM.Comment

You have to be mentally weak to become suicidal because you have low self-esteem & you're insecure about not being appreciated enough.Suicide does not come from mental weakness. And you've to be mentally weak to chicken out of committing suicide.
No two ways about it, the fat boy is mentally weak. The way he gets so emotional & start crying whenever people pick against him is very telling. Don't conflate mental weakness with mental illness.Comment
