Does the fact Fury tried to commit suicide indicate mental weakness?

To attempt to commit suicide requires a large amount of fragility does the fact that fury attempted and failed highlight an as yet unexploited mental frailty that’ll likely be exposed further when he takes that first loss?

To commit suicide is to essentially to quit on life so chances are he could be forced to quit in the ring as well?

It suggests mental illness which should never be conflated with mental weakness.

Are you a doctor? Can you show me where fury has been diagnosed with s mental illness?

Not everyone who attempts to commit suicide has mental illness perhaps deep down fury is just a coward and a quitter he tries to quit life and couldn’t even go through with that he quit twice

I think the sorta suicidal situation Tyson discussed is much more common so while it could be described as a weakness in the moment idk that it necessarily indicates a ongoing consistent weakness. Plenty of high level people have had similar situations including guys like SRL & Mike Tyson in boxing.

          Yes.

Bunch of ******* who watched a PBS special will say I'm ignorant, but, my mother's sister was schizo and that's not hyperbole. She died because one of her personalities always mixed **** up and mixed up her pills with her husbands. My father's sister was shot in the face by her husband who is currently pleading insanity. My best friend successfully committed suicide, and, his father murdered his mother then himself in a murder suicide. My father died of cancer, brain tumors in the end, that **** changed him too. Started hallucinating and ****.

I know crazy, I know depression, I know lack of control, done see the spiral so many times ghosts became my friends and family.

If I got a gimp arm it's weak. If I have a gimp leg it's weak. If my stomach can't take certain foods it's weak. So on, but, for some reason when it's the mind we say oh it's not a weakness. Like ****, it isn't.

That said, I'm not sold on the sob story anyways. Tyson Fury's likely full of ****. He was scared of rematching Wlad.

Incredible post and I have a large amount of respect for you based on it Fury is mentally weak he’s ok so long as he has the edge mentally but when his mind games don’t work he’ll likely crumble completely and finish what he started

Of course it does. It may not be a permanent state and likely isn't but we've gotta admit the obvious to ourselves.

It indicated that weakness is there

Well no one is mentally perfect 24/7/365 in fairness. And some folks got bigger demons & lower lows.

But yea it's for sure weakness even if it is attributed to a mental illness cuz you could suggest the mental illness is a weakness too.

I thought it was just because he was addicted. I don’t think he was mentally weak just too damn high and drunk.
