Interim explicitly = world championship in the WBC bylaws and silver explicitly is below the world championship in the WBC bylaws.
It is the silver medal of the WBC. The world championship is the gold medal of the WBC.
I see
Given the WBC calls the WBC title just the World title in their verbiage and conflates the interim with it I think we're talking about to different meanings of the word.
What region does a WBC World Silver title preside over? It's not a world title? International is the WBC's highest regional title and they have a Silver for that too. World Silver seems like a world title. Not saying it's equal to the WBC just that it's region is world.
Far as Interim over Silver that seems true. Interim is equal to WBC with the only exception being the actual WBC champion? Weird wording but clear enough to know interim is still more than Silver:
Which is ****ing weird. You have the F, the WBC, and the Interim, then the Silver. You can call it second place all day long but obviously it's a third or fourth place, world, title.Championship Rule. In special circumstances, including when the WBC in its sole discretion declares a WBC champion temporarily unavailable to defend his title, the WBC may sanction a bout between Qualified Challengers for an interim championship, or otherwise recognize an interim champion in the division. In its sole discretion, the WBC shall subsequently determine the timing and terms of any bout between a Champion and Interim Champion to determine a sole champion in the division, provided, however, that an Interim Champion shall never be deemed a mandatory challenger, or entitled to greater share of proceeds of any purse offer beyond that of a challenger, without a specific prior written order to that effect from the WBC President or his designee.
For the avoidance of doubt, a WBC Interim World Championship shall be considered a true WBC World title for all purposes, other than with respect to a bout versus the actual World Champion, absent any order to the contrary from the WBC in its sole discretion.
Fury
Pov
Joyce
and if there was an F, let's just pretend Vitali is active and holds the F, like he never lost and just kept his title then got upgraded to Franchise. Then the official ordering of the WBC's official world champions would be Vitali, Fury, Povetkin, then the Silver holder Joyce there with a Silver in fourth.

Well you gotta give credit to the owner he is writing all the stories on his own and likely makes good money off adsense since he ranks high in the google top stories that means high traffic which leads to more ad revenue.
Maybe he got a connect in Google who got his site to rank high since he just s blogger?Comment

The point is, saying that "WBN no longer recognizes" a sanctioning body is almost as relevant as saying you or I don't recognize it.Well you gotta give credit to the owner he is writing all the stories on his own and likely makes good money off adsense since he ranks high in the google top stories that means high traffic which leads to more ad revenue.

Him and his blog don't amount to jack. He isn't even a full member of the BWAA, he's an auxiliary member.
By contrast, if Ring Magazine, ESPN boxing, BoxRec, and the Boxing Writers Association of America all decided a sanctioning body was not to be acknowledged, it might mean something then.Comment
