I find them to be hypocrites though since they said this:

Undisputed will only be acknowledged if it’s between the WBC, IBF, and WBO championships. The latter still has work to do to be on par with the WBC and IBF.

A future scenario could arise where WBN will consider only the World Boxing Council and International Boxing Federation. Conversations remain ongoing.

The WBO have gradually added more belts to their roster over the years, with the WBO Global now seemingly gathering worrying pace with promoters.

A WBC addition of the ‘Franchise’ status has also raised more questions than answers. Hopefully, that will disband when Canelo retires.

In one breath they say the WBO "has work to do to be on par with" the WBC.

But then later says "WBC addition of the Franchise status...."

Need to make up their damn minds. WBC was the first to introduce

        Regular /
        Interim /
        Super /
        Franchise /
        Money /
        Gold/
        Universal /
        Emeritus /
whatever that kid was gifted... so by your own damn rules, you should have banned them LONG ago.

But you didn't because you know they run the show right now. It ain't about Canelo.

It's all moot because WBN is not the authority. International Boxing Hall of Fame is. If they recognize it, it remains a credible title. And they're not going to drop it anytime soon, especially not with Joshua holding it.

IBF also leaves the #1 and #2 spot vacant. Probably for $$$

Their the only belt I see guys coming off losses go right back into title fight their very next fight.

I call the IBF the "Chael Sonnen" of boxing...

You could be an auxiliary member if you wrote 6 articles somewhere and paid $40.

Yup, and has become a farce because of their greed by creating 3 other belts per division to make 4 total....."super", "champion", "gold" and "interim".....and with the wbc basically following suit with their "champion", "silver", "franchise" and "diamond", they both SUCK and should be relegated to obscurity, imo
