Yes.

Another fact for people is that WBC, IBF and WBA all have had past corruption convictions. Arum allegedly having to pay WBA officials to get his fighters ranked.

Which would explain why Porter isn't ranked on WBA when he should be (because Haymon isn't about to fork over nothing).

WBO is just too new to have that level of corruption, but we've seen more questionable decisions from their title fights than any other, arguably. It's become the Top Rank Title.

Sort of, The BBBoC, EBU, NYSAC, and NSC are all older but in the 60s dropped their world claims to focus on regional while supporting the WBC as their new world titles.

That said, the IBF and WBO are splinters of the WBA so until the 80s they have a shared history. Kinda why the NABF got devalued.

They should just remove all the “additional” belts, and while there at it do the same with WBC. They have franchise belts, new divisions etc. They should be ignored completely too

Got mixed feelings about this, there are a good amount of worthy fighters that hold WBA belts and deserve to be recognised as champions. But at the same time you can't say the WBA itself doesn't deserve it, their belt proliferation is nothing short of farcical. The game of musical chairs they played with their beltholders the other day was more ridiculous than anything I've seen in a while.

Honestly they should do the same with the WBC while they're at it. They've got nearly as many superfluous meme trinkets and they're more flagrantly corrupt. Enforcing the utterly absurd Canelo-Yildirim fight is the most blatant example of that you could ask for.

More mfers need to do this....most importantly folks with power & more skin in the game than WBN need to do it & to all these bs ass belts.

These ABC groups have ****d the sport of any integrity outside the ring & fights like Tyson vs RJJ has shown us that intriguing fights in the ring don't need real belts to matter. Make the big fights & it can be for all of these corrupt ass belts or for none of them & it moves the needle.

If any off this was true/official etc then great while their at it they should also scrap the WBC as well for all it's worth, if it were up to me I would just have it the WBO and IBF belts in each division that's it and scrap the WBC/WBA and IBO belts all together..
