Eh. A exhibition between two active guys competing at a world class level is such a bs concept. I get it when we got old mfers, I get it when 1 guy is active & the other guy is from some other sphere. Two pro boxers should just have a pro fight. Fair play I guess doe. Make that money Manny & Ryan. And honestly if its 100% legit I don't gaf if its a exhibition or pro bout, but I feel like thats very unlikely & this will be some 75% or less effort Tyson vs RJJ kinda deal.

Dillian Shyte was Wilder's mando for like 600 days or something like that.

There's a big mistake in this article, Pacquiao did not fight Campbell, they're in different weight class.

It allowed fighters to fight without having to pay sanctioning fees from world alphabet boxing sacntioning organizations, use catchweight limitations, set up their own agreed rules within the purview of state sanctioning bodies, or in the case of Muhammad Ali fighting a wrestler in a boxing ring.

This are still real fights that can involve knockouts. In fact exhibition fights back in the day can lead to an official sanctioned championship if the lower rated boxer fighting the champion ended up winning or having an extremely competitive fight with the champion.
You are confusing non-title bouts with exhibitions.

Sure someone like SRR (for example) back in the day would have loads of 10-roud non-title bouts between defending his belt in 15-round championship fights, but these were NOT exhibitions.

An exhibition does not affect your record. An exhibition fight is usually for just a few rounds, often involving larger gloves... and is generally a waste of everyone's time.

You keep bringing floyd here he's not relevant anymore. This is about the king of ww vs the king of lw that's why it should be called "KING OF KINGS".

This exhibition with a active current WT holder to duck defending his title is a precedent in taking a dump on boxing never seen before .

Manny has no shame at all, he was signed to fight McTap and only 3 days after the Con is stopped he choices a novice kid instead of Spence , biggest duck in boxing right now.
