Imagine a week on Sunday, the biggest game in American Football was Tom Brady and the Bucs playing a team who’d never professionally played football before but had 10m followers on YouTube. It’s absolutely laughable.

That would never happen because the NFL has credibility. Boxing doesn’t, and the likes of Mayweather are continually damaging the sports credibility by fighting f***ing YouTubers whilst overshadowing the real fights in the process.

Boxing lost all its credibility when it allowed two youtubers to main event a card and even during Tyson-Jones card allowed a youtuber with some experience fight a retired basketball player with none who also flailed around the ring till he mercifully he got put to sleep so if boxing wants to regain it's soul it needs to make its participants male and female, who trained their entire lives, seem more important than its celebrity death match fights.

I completely agree. It’s become an absolute joke. The saddest thing is more people will watch two shot 50 year olds or Floyd vs a YouTuber than will watch Loma vs Lopez.
